Steve Holt! For my last show of 2011 I went with keeping things on the leading edge of UK and Future Garage. 2011 has been a brilliant year for music, and here's to more bangin' tunage in 2012. Happy New Year. B Serato Playlist Listen on Mixcloud

Merry Christmas! For my Xmas special this year I went with an Old School garage rinse out. Not much to be said as you should know what to expect. Savage old school across all the eras that get the juices flowing. Thanks to everyone that's made 2011 a massive year for me and the sound I push. Big up to all the producers making music that I love, and I look forward to what 2012 brings! Stay safe, an...

Waddup Broseph? You ready for some fresh, smoking hot UK Garage? Then you're in for a treat. Recently it just seems like it's been getting better and better every week. The chatroom is always jam over at Sub. FM and people seem to be enjoying what I'm doing. This week's show is choc full of some of the freshest music on road. There's also a few cheeky classics slipped in there for good measure; li...

Here's part 2 to last week's epic show. Getting the end of hour 2, I was promptly told to shut my noise as I talk to much, along with bringing the dirtiest basslines I could find. Being a man that likes to please, I did as I was told. Most of this music you would have heard on this show before, but don't let that take anything away from this prolapse-inducing mix up. Grab your earphones, a nappy,...

SEXY TIME! Smooth UK Garage for you this time round with my journeys on the London Underground. I went through and randomly picked a bunch of gems that I haven't played in a while and threw them together using my favourite shiny slate-like device. I got a good reminder of how amazing the Midnight Circus and Bibliotek were whilst mixing this. This is old school and vocal UKG at some of it's best. H...

Fresh UK Garage and bassy savageness to kick off your week for you. This show I got to showcase some of the latest and greatest in underground music, and it was so hype that the listeners wouldn't let me go. The next DJ didn't turn up, so the show ran for 4 hours! This is the first 2 hours of that set. I had a lot of unplayed tracks from my last show, so it was almost lucky that I was light on the...

Who wants some music that's so fresh that it takes stink out of other unfresh things? That's right, we're back on Sub. FM for a show on the 5th of November that produced fireworks. Every single tune played was the first time I'd played it (apart from 1, can you spot it?) so the music was fresher than a Norwegian's special place. Why, oh why, do I keep banging on about Norway... I give you Mr Doug...

I promised a flashback episode, so here's one, and it's a doozy. Here's a mix I did about 7 years ago now. It was around the time that garage had gotten shit and was just on the way back. I was getting bang into my old school as there was nothing else about. There was also some top cheese funky house on the scene. I was a ball hair away from turning into a full cheese house DJ. Luckily my soul is...

Future Garage! GREAT SCOTT! We've got a FG Spesh for you this time round on the Tube Train Tear-up. I've gone through and dug out some of my favourite Future Garage hits from this year and mashed them up into an 80 minute tear-up on the London Underground using an Apple iPad. I also flitted over to the Central Line in parts for this mix due to National Express East Anglia running a Mickey Mouse tr...

Okay, so why Bitch Pudding? That will be a mystery you'll have to ponder. All you need to know is this show is solid bitch pudding. The chat room was alive for this show. Lots of action, interaction and bassline refraction. To be honest, some of the mixing was looser than a post-curry stool, but it didn't stop the hype. So listen back, turn up the bass, and rave as hard as you can. And you you fan...

So I've already swayed from what is supposed to be the norm. Given that I'm on my first vacation for about 5 years I think you can let me off. Episode 2 of the Tube Train Tear Up was mixed on a Boeing 747 flying over the Atlantic Ocean. Possibly the highest ever altitude that a UKG set has been recorded. In fact, I think I'm going to start touting that as a claim to fame. Maybe if I add the word "...

Upfront, brand new music as per this week. Trivial info for you - this week was my first week streaming from a Mac. Decided to dump my noisy tower for a Mac Mini. Because of this the levels get a bit toasty at the beginning so sorry about that. There's some nice new tunage out there at the moment. I'm preparing to put together a proper mix CD soon. Will put that together after my holiday which I'm...

So here's my first attempt at turning my commute into ear sex. The Tube Train Tear-up is mixed 100% live on the London Underground Victoria Line. The first episode is a test bed for what is to come. I'm working on themes and ideas for following episodes so make sure you subscribe! Either over at iTunes or via your favourite podcatcher with RSS. Cheers for listening, and I hope you enjoy my inaugur...

So here it is - my new project. This is me introducing my podcast the Tube Train Tear-up. This involves me throughout the week having a mixup on the London Underground. Subscribe over at iTunes or via your favourite podcatcher with RSS. Massive respect to Simon AKA Sinage Design for the logo. Check him out. He's a ledge. Listen to Episode one of the Tube Train Tear-up here Hope you enjoy! Brainz

The Bumpy UK Garage podcast is one years old! We made it 12 whole months without me getting bored or dying of dysentery. The response has been amazing compared to what I expected (which was being ignored!) So much so that I've started to work on a sister podcast to this one. More details will be coming soon. This week we're back with some of the hottest, freshest UK Garage, Future Garage and Brooo...

Yuh! Hang tight all the gang that was locked live for this show. Fresh, bassy and experimental beats in this episode, with a classic or two popping up to say hi. Big up everyone downloading, commenting on iTunes, and spreading the good word by telling their friends about this podcast. I aim to please, and just want people to listen. Hope you enjoy. Until next time. B

It's been a crazy couple of weeks in London Town. Needless to say, I bet Doneao ever regrets putting out a tune called "Riot Music". Pushing the new music again this week as always. Tried my best to fish out the hottest current tunes. Apologies for any sporadic pots and pans. Brainz, out.

Yeah okay. My show names are getting more messed up. At least it's not video coverage of it, eh? This week's show is a bit weird. 40 minutes in, my Wind0ze machine crashed and I lost the recording. Screwing. So I had to go back and redo the first part of the show AFTER the show had finished. I then spliced it all back together. Magic. You're welcome. Cheers for listening. B to the rizzo.

Got a guidalicious show for you this week. Lots of new music, a few jokes and a couple of tongue-in-cheek shout outs. Keep the levels high, the bass banging, and your podcatcher locked to DJ BrainZ. Safe as houses B

So after an interesting week in my email inbox I hit Romford on Friday evening with a pair of garage trendies who were 2 kneepads short of going full-raver. We had a sick pair of sushi-flavoured Nike IDs but luckily we weren't skateboarding gay style. It was the first UKG night I'd been to where someone had dropped Tinie Tempah - Pass Out so we didn't hang around, which was a shame as the Vodka Re...

Live from the burning building, I rinsed out some brand spanking new UKG in this show. Not much to say this week other than the chatroom was buzzing and I got some positive feedback. I also think I fixed my Serato problem. So sit back and listen to some criss tunes, with a splash of bassy classics at the end. Big up. This week I was back covering for Para on Sub. FM and for me the pressure was on to keep the levels high. Lots of new riddims this week. Also breaking the cherry on one of the biggest 2-step joints so far this year from ex-Artful Dodger Pete Devereux. Watch out for 2 mixes of the forthcoming smash Good Love by DEVolution, which has been getting heavy support from Radio 1xtra and is destined for bi...

So summer is on it's way, big time. London was blazing hot when I recorded this show. Couple that with the spicy chicken I had at Nandos (ah yeah) and I was sweating like a paedo at the beach. Lots and lots of new music as per usual. Let's pretend that you can't hear the occasional clutter of pots and pans. OH GARSH B Visit https://brainfartz.co.uk for free downloads of some of the tracks from the...

YES! So DannyB0yUK asked where this week's show was on Twitter. Recently, I've had no time to keep the podcast up to date weekly so I've only been posting my fortnightly radio shows. The tweet made me feel guilty for being lazy, so I whacked up a quick show that I found on my web server. Problem is, this show is liable to shoot any grain of credibility I have into the ground. Be warned - there is...

So on Saturday morning (with a raging hangover) I work up pretty much screaming. This is because the end of the world was supposed to happen that day. Funnily enough, the mental bible bashers got it wrong again and we didn't all evaporate. Therefore, I had a chance to actually throw down a show on Sub. FM. This week, watch out for the world premier of Phonetix's new tune featuring Harsh entitled "...
