This week we are concluding punk month with Decline of Western Civilization. Punk Rock Month continues with the Great Rock n Roll Swindle, a documentary about the Sex Pistols. We talk about Malcolm McLaren's lessons for starting the Sex Pistols, the origins of the pogo and moshing, little people creeping Jimmy out, the Monkees of Punk rock, disappointment in Netflix's the Crown, Sid Vicious vs Freddy Mercury, David Bowie in Texas.

Continuing with Punk Rock month, we watched the documentary Another State of Mind. This week we read our first comic, Jason McNamara's Rattler drawn by Greg Hinkle. Forrest read this on a whim, and chose this because it gave him a Twilight Zone vibe. Jimmy didn't know what to expect when Forrest gave the vague description of, "a man hears his girlfriend's voice in the strangest places." This week we watched Kevin Smith's Tusk. This is one of Jimmy's favorite Kevin Smith movies after watching it for the first time. We talk about his old movies and how people used to (and still) shit on comic books. Forrest thinks he found shit that should not be in the movie. We try to determine whose the hero in this.
