In week 3 of this class, Pastor Derek discusses the “when" of biblical counseling. When should biblical counseling take place, when is it needed, and specifically how it happens here at Woodridge. Pastor Derek talks about numerous ways that we here at Woodridge are seeking to help train and counsel one another.

This week we look at how Christ teaches us Christian contentment. The Holy Spirit has given us a number of spiritual lessons about ourselves, the world, and God that enable us to live contentedly. The truth of these lessons is expressed in the Bible and experienced by Christians everyday. 

In this class, Pastor Rich begins to look at who it is that should counsel one another with the bible as well as who it is that may need biblical counsel. He also discusses the ways in which biblical counseling should happen within the local church as we seek to strengthen one another.
