God has called us to live a morally pure life in an immoral society. In this passage Paul not only tells us why but he tells us how. (1 Thessalonians 4:1-8)

The Apostle Paul’s encouragement of the Christians in Thessalonica also gives us a healthy model of how we can grow stronger and have a greater impact for the Gospel in our generation. (1 Thessalonians 1:1-10)

Two of the things Jesus valued most was the Word of God and living in Community. It is interesting those two values were present, predominant and practiced by the early church. And they must be valued and pursued in the church today. (John 17:17; John 13:34, 35; Acts 2:42-47)

Two things that Jesus wants us to value most is our worship and our witness. In John 4, Jesus instructs us how to become better worshipers and witnesses for His glory. (John 4:4-42)

It is essential we pursue spiritual. In the process of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ, we begin to think like Jesus; love like Jesus; act like Jesus and look like Jesus. That transforming process brings God great glory. (Luke 6:40; Romans 8:28-30; Romans 12:1,2; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:20, 21)

We exist for God. We were created and redeemed to give Him glory. Enjoying His grace and blessing is not an end in themselves. They are a means to a greater end - to display His glory and extend it throughout the world for all eternity. (I Corinthians 6:19,20; Philippians 2:9-11; Peter 4:10, 11)

Being a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ means that our commitment to Him is total - We hold nothing back. We abandon everything to follow Him and pursue Him and represent Him to the world. (Matthew 4:18-22; Luke 5:1-11; Matthew 28:18-20)

Every Christian needs to intentionally grow up in Christ or else we become stunted and unable to make any difference in the kingdom for the glory of God. This message explores some of the points of the growing up process from Luke 2:41-52. (Luke 2:41-52)

If you reject the miracles recorded in the Bible, you must reject the message of the Bible. If you can't rely on the accuracy of the message, then the Christmas story is just another myth. But because it is true, He changes everything. (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-33; John 1:14)

We give thanks at meals but do we have a lifestyle of being thankful followers of Christ? This message dives into some of the reasons why we are not more thankful and how important it is to God that we are. (Luke 17:11-19)

Jesus gives this parable as both a clear warning and a powerful incentive to invest our earthly lives and assets in the kingdom of heaven while we still can. The more intentional our investment on earth, the more substantial will be our eternal reward. (Matthew 25:14-30)

God calls Christians to be faithful stewards of Christ. To do that we need to stop living like owners and start living like managers. And to do that, we need to stop living like consumers and start living like investors. (Matthew 6:19-33; 2 Corinthians 9:6)

As Christians, God not only calls us to be servants of Christ but also stewards of Christ. How we view and use our God given resources serves as a test of our spiritual condition, a trademark of our allegiance and a tremendous investment opportunity. (Matthew 6:19-21, 24; Matthew 13:44, 45)
