God is a God of generations! Today we hear from the younger generation on why this generation should turn to the older generation for wisdom and mentorship!

God is a God of generations! Instead of being upset at those who came before or disparaging those follow behind, how can we play our part in this millennia-long relay?

God's church is big, bigger than we tend to remember. And the more we remember that God is a global God, the better we'll understand our role in His mission. 

We are all over the place with our ideas about faith and belief. Sometimes we define belief as knowledge; other times, we define faith as action. In reality, it's one simple idea...do we know and trust Jesus enough to take a leap into the uncertain?

Have you ever thought, "I'll get really serious about my faith as soon as (Fill in the blank with some current phase of life) is over."? The truth is, there is always something - either we do it or not - that's obedience.

Every decision is a direction. Where are our choices leading us? 

 We have a lot of "versions" of Jesus. A Jesus that affirms our beliefs, a Jesus that confirms our desires, a Jesus that can't transform us because we've made him just like us.  But the real Jesus is compelling, He is full of Grace & Truth, and he is worth listening to.

Good friends say the hard things. 

Sometimes it's not finding a friend that is the challenge. Friendships are often derailed by disappointments, hurts, conflict and offenses. How do we navigate these potholes in our relationships? Not surprisingly, Proverbs has some genius advice.

Friendship is one of the few things we get WORSE at as we get older, and lots of people feel hopeless about deeply connecting and settle into loneliness. But friendship is more important than we realize, more difficult than we thought, and more achievable than we believe.

In this last lesson in the series, we discuss hospitality. Believe it or not, the Bible says a lot about it. 1 Peter 4:7-11 talks about the importance of hospitality in light of the end of the world. Peter mentions 4 things, and hospitality is one of them!

Everyone is called to serve. Jesus modeled it for us. The hardest part is changing our attitude so that we do not miss opportunities to serve. Jesus tells us in John 4 to Open our Eyes.
