This week my brain has sounded like Limp Bizkit, Break Stuff…on repeat. Not sure if it’s aging, the constant need to be “on”, or a slow build of anxiety. But something’s got a hold of me that I wish would let go.

Not sure what’s made national news, but let me tell you; my backyard is making local news. For all the wrong reasons no less. From mall fights, to shootings, to unfortunately; a terrorist attack. Scary things are happening! As a person and a mom, I’m not feeling it. Things need to change!

Ok winos, this is a wild one! Of course we know people will sue over anything these days; but suing because you feel as though you’re missing an organ you were expecting to be given during a surgery is a new one. Yes, patient transparency needs to be better across the board…but who’s undergoing a major surgery without understanding the expected outcome?

Most people would love to work from home! And don’t get me wrong, I’m blessed and thankful to be able to do so…however, no one talks about the down side to working from home. You have to use your own toilet paper. Side note, need to find out if that’s a tax deductible expense, lol. But seriously, living AND working from home can make your 4 walls feel smaller than you ever imagined.

Life is too busy for random things to be changing up. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Things that I used to care nothing about are now the biggest nuisance. Feels like my OCD has ramped up exponentially. And yes, I have strong options about what you do with your yard; where is the HOA? Am I becoming THAT person…?…maybe.
