New Years resolution number 2; finding peace and creating boundaries! Saying yes is not a requirement in life. Accepting negative energy is also, not a requirement in life. It’s ok to draw lines and stand firm. Just like “you are what you eat”, your body carries the weight of your mental luggage. Drop the extra bags and be ok saying naw-I’mma-stay (namaste) right here in my happy place! 🧘🏽‍♀️

I mean, I know I’m not the only one thinking all these things, but why does...

E6 | Did He Do It? 08.12.2025

Yes, you guessed it! This week I’m giving my 2 cents on the recently dropped Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning. This had multiple of my mental tabs consumed; so much to discuss and unpack. But the big question at hand; “Did he do it?”, I certainly think so! Grab a glass and bring a bottle, because 1 pour won’t be enough to cover this topic! Let’s wine! 🍷

E5 | 40 vs 2 01.12.2025

Parenting at 40 is just different! What made me think I had patience to handle a toddler in their terrible 2s? Tantrums almost daily, refusal to poop in the toilet, the intense recognition of “mine” and “no” as vocabulary, the “I can do it myself” phase, and a diet of charcuterie style snacking…even though I cooked. 😑 Something tells me the wine budget is about to increase exponentially. 🍷

E4 | Parental Accountability 24.11.2025

This week I cover the Chicago story of a pregnant mother and her 9 year old son who were jumped by a group of kids while walking home. Let’s take a moment to question what’s happening in the world around us. What happened to “the village”? Why are situations like this become the norm? And my thoughts on how to help hold accountability where accountability starts…the parents. The GoFundMe mentioned...
