We Are Woman
We Are Woman
The We Are Woman Podcast is a living, breathing conversation between Bec Sharp, Melissa Moss, and Sara de Clercq. Three women with decades of experience in nervous system-informed practices and psycho-somatic healing. This podcast is an inquiry into what it means to breathe fully, feel deeply, and live embodied. Together, we explore the edges of womanhood, vulnerability, power, intimacy, creativity, and the nervous system. It's an invitation to come home again: to our bodies, to ourselves, and to our sisterhood. A space of remembering who we are beneath the conditioning. Raw. Real. Restored

The Space Between Seasons 01.06.2026 21:11
An honest conversation about what stayed with us, what surprised us, and what we're taking into Season 2. This week we're doing something a little different. Instead of diving into a new topic, the three of us sat down for a relaxed conversation to reflect on Season 1. Over a cup of tea and a chat, we looked back on the conversations that stayed with us, the themes that kept resurfacing, t...
Touch, Breath & Being Held 25.05.2026 45:23
This episode of We Are Woman is a conversation about nervous system safety, human connection, and the deeper role of touch in FBR Breathwork. Today, Mel and Sara explore touch, both within FBR Breathwork and as something deeply human. Touch exists so naturally in our lives that we often don’t stop to think about it. The way we hold a child when they cry, place a hand on someone when they’re hurtin...

The Good Girl 11.05.2026 1:03:42
There’s a version of womanhood many of us learned very early in life — the good girl. The one who is polite, responsible, helpful, and easy to be around. The one who tries to get things right, doesn’t cause trouble, and quietly carries what’s needed. For many of us, being that girl meant being liked, accepted, and safe. And so, over time, it becomes something we carry with us into adulthood. In th...
Love Letters to The Universe 04.05.2026 1:12:01
This conversation with Vanessa Forbes moves beyond music as something we simply listen to… and into music as something we feel , something that meets us, and something that can open parts of us we may not have had access to before. Vanessa is a musician and space holder whose work sits at the intersection of sound, healing, and expression. What unfolds in this conversation is less about technique...

The Return of the Sisterhood 20.04.2026 1:09:51
In this episode of We Are Woman , we explore the idea of sisterhood and what becomes possible when women support one another instead of feeling like we are competing. Through conversation and gentle reflection, we look at how many of us have experienced both sides of this dynamic - the beauty of being uplifted and held by another woman, and the moments where comparison, judgment, or old wounds can...
Where Nourishment Becomes Safety 13.04.2026 1:15:25
Food has become confusing. We’re constantly being told what to eat, what to avoid, and how to optimise our health, yet many of us feel more disconnected than ever. In this episode, we sit down with Amanda Powell , a nutritionist specialising in body composition, gut health and thyroid health, as well as GI mapping, food intolerance and functional testing, to explore what’s really going on beneath...
The Beauty of Burning: Where Shadow Meets Rebirth 06.04.2026 1:04:43
In this week’s episode, we explore what shadow death really is. A deeply human process of shedding. The seasons where something that once fit no longer does. The identities, roles, and ways of operating that quietly begin to soften. We speak to how this can feel dark, disorienting, even tender at times, and how that darkness does not mean something is wrong. It can simply mean something is changin...
Follow The Whispers 30.03.2026 1:08:45
This week’s conversation feels like a return to something ancient, familiar, and deeply needed. A space where women gather in honesty, in reflection, and in remembrance. Where stories are shared as lived experience. This is the essence of sitting in circle, and it’s exactly what unfolds here as we sit with Emma Yeadon Specialising in FBR Breathwork, Nervous System Regulation and Cacao Ceremony, Em...
The Language of Our Body 23.03.2026 1:04:23
In this episode of We Are Woman , we slow things down and explore the practice that quietly underpins so much of what we speak about here — Facilitated Breath Repatterning. We share what this work is, how we’ve come to it, and why it has become such a foundational part of how we understand ourselves and move through the world. We speak to FBR as a practice that meets the body with safety rather th...
The Nervous System and the Lost Art of Real Rest 16.03.2026 1:18:07
In this week’s episode, we explore the nervous system as the quiet system shaping our energy, pace, and experience of the world each day. There’s so much content out there on the “nervous system” but we speak to what it actually feels like to move through life in a body that is often “on,” and how many of us were navigating activation long before we had language for it. We touch lightly on the sci...

Listening Before the Body Has to Shout 02.03.2026 1:03:40
Strength can look beautiful and unwavering from the outside. Capable. Composed. The one who holds it all together. In this episode, Mel opens the space to explore her story beneath that strength. The identity so many women are praised for, and the quiet cost it can carry. For years, holding it all together felt powerful. Until her body began to speak. A tight jaw. A braced diaphragm. Shoulders tha...
Feminine Leadership 23.02.2026 52:17
Leadership is often thought of as something we step into, but rarely as something we return to . Yet women lead. We always have. Often in ways that go unnamed, unseen, or unrecognised by traditional definitions of power and authority. In this conversation, we explore leadership as something that begins inside the self. Not as a role to earn or a way to perform, but as a way of being rooted in love...

Power Restored 09.02.2026 1:06:09
In this episode of We Are Woman , we slow power right down and ask a different question: what is power, really? Not the performative kind, and not dominance, confidence, or control, but the kind you can actually feel in your body. The kind that is steady, grounded, and quietly alive. We explore power as capacity: the ability to stay connected to yourself, your truth, your inner signals, and your b...

Where Authenticity Meets Belonging 26.01.2026 1:04:29
Authenticity isn’t something we do alone. It’s something we practice in relationship. In the moments we’re seen, challenged, mirrored, and held. In this episode, we explore the dance between authenticity and belonging. We discuss the ways we shapeshift to be accepted, the masks we wear to stay connected, and the deeper truth underneath it all that belonging isn’t about fitting in, it’s about being...
Welcome to We Are Woman 19.01.2026 13:29
Thank you for listening This first episode is a love letter to our sisters. It's an opening into the conversations we're here to have together.
