A nation that fears the Lord will prosper. True prosperity to any nations comes when that nation fears the Lord.

We should have a vision for the gospel that includes future generations. Our vision is too short if we believe we are the terminal generation. Future generations are yet to come who will serve the Lord. We must believe that. - Psalm 22:30-31

Some of the greatest revivals that have ever occurred came when all seemed to be hopeless. There was a time of darkness and then light dawned. We must believe that can happen again. Psalm 22:27

When we come to the realization that we are great sinners in the sight of a Holy God, then this nation will begin to see change. 1 Timothy 1:15

As we think about our own nation and how far we have fallen as a people, we need to heed God's call to repentance in our day. It is not too late for our nation to repent of its sins. Though God's judgments continue to fall on the land, yet we can still repent and turn back to God as a people.

Though we have fallen short as a church, Jesus has not deserted us. He is near and wants to see the church change for the better. Like in times past, the church is at a low ebb but revivals came in years gone by that completely changed the church. May the Lord send such powerful revivals again into our midst.

his passage seems to point further than the return of the exiles from Babylon to something that is worldwide. It points to a time when there will be a great increase in the church when people from all ove will come into Zion. References: Isaiah 49:9-12

This is a passage about the coming of the Messiah. He would be a covenant to the peoople. That is He would be salvation for the people all over the world. Isaiah 49:8

Jesus has already begun to reign and His reign will continue until He has put all His enemies under His feet

What is our vision for the church today? Are we sitting around waiting on a rapture to take us out of this evil world or are we pressing ahead with the gospel to the ends of he earth to win the whole world to Christ.

The light of the church will not be put out by the darkness. Though the darkness seems powerful at the moment, it will not overcome the light of the church. God will give it more light and its light will be so powerful that whole nations will come to it. The church must not retreat from the darkness but must advance with God's power and light to overcome the darkness of this world.

The Jewish people had been carried captive to Babylon but that was not the end. God had a plan and would carry it out. Their deliverance would come and many would return to Palestine. The city and temple would be rebuilt and one day the Messiah would come to that very temple. He would come as a Savior not only to the Jews but to the whole world. References: Isaiah 49:1-2

Though He abandoned His Church in the Old Testament for a moment, He promised He would never do it again. We can count on God's promise. He will never again abandon His church as He once did. We must believe that. His Church will go on and God will be with us and not forsake us. References: Isaiah 54:6-10

God had His plan for the church whenIsaiah gave this prophecy. The church has always been in God's plan. Today, we talk about the salvation of God's church. References: Isaiah 45:25

We need to get God's vision for this world and to believe His promise of a world wide coming to Christ. It is through the church that Jesus will bring salvation to a lost world. It's light will increase until the whole world will come to Christ through the message of the gospel. This is God's plan and promise. This we must believe. References: Isaiah 45:23-24

Any nation that turns its back on God will not survive. We have turned our back on God as a nation. We have rejected His law and made up our own laws that are contrary to His. We are constantly shaking our fists in the face of God. Yet, God calls out to us today to look to Him, to give up our idols and our rebellion, and to come to Him. He is the only God and the only Savior. May we hear His call...

God's promises are true and will be fulfilled in due time. We must believe that. If greater revivals are yet to come that will sweep the whole earth and bring multitudes into God's kingdom, we must have faith that such can happen. If God's promises point to such a time, then we must believe them. References: Isaiah 45:19

Many are the doomsayers today. Many have given up on the church. Many are looking for a rapture to take them out of the way before all is destroyed. Yet, God's promises for His Church point to brighter times ahead. We must believe that. Our task is not complete on this earth. Much work yet must be done. We are still under the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. This is God's purpose...

Our mission today as the church is to go into all the world and win the nations to Christ. This is God's plan and He has called us as His church to go as His ambassadors to the nations and bring them im. And when we go, the peoples will want to come. This is Isaiah's promise. God will carry out His plan. He will send forth His gospel into the world and Christ shall possess he nations. This is His plan and promise. We must believe that God will do what He promises. References: Isaiah 45:11-13

We are living in an age of great rebellion against the Creator. Things are being done and said today that have never been done and said before. The rebellion has reached an extreme stage and God's judgement is already upon us. Unless we turn back from our rebellion against our God, this nation will not survive. References: Isaiah 45:9-10

One of the greatest needs of our nation today is a national spiritual revival. Today, we are far from God as a nation. We are under His judgment and we need to repent. Yet, we have faith that God will send revival to bring this nation to its knees and restore it to what it once was. Let us pray to that end. References: Isaiah 45:7-8

King Cyrus prepared the way for the worldwide proclamation of the gospel. God has His plan and He is carrying it out. Jesus came just as the prophets said He would. He came to His temple and filled it with His glory, the temple that Cyrus gave orders to build. God has worked throughout history to carry out His plan and He is still working today. Today, we are playing with fire. We are committing sins that God has clearly condemned. History shows that nations who committed such sins were destroyed. Judgement came on them and it will come on us if we do not repent. We are playing with fire in condoning sins that God calls an abomination. We may get away with it for a while but not forever.
