The Christmas story is full of divine moments; none more so than the angel Gabriel’s visit to Mary. After years of silence, God was about to do something incredible.

The prophets were known for two things, warning those in the present while pointing them to the hope of the future. In this message we look far into the past-before the first Christmas-and experience the Incarnation before it actually happened.

We rarely hear the word used no matter how heinous the crime. It has been eradicated from our vocabulary, even though its effects are felt all around us and few of us feel truly safe anymore. In this message, we look at the power of faith against the advance of evil.

Venom. Its poison can be equally subtle and equally obvious to all, yet for all our attempts to destroy it, it remains one of humanity’s greatest problems. Give.  Jesus broke down the conflicting loyaties in life to two competing factions – our possessions and God. Both demand allegiance but only one brings true contentment and joy. When we align our resources with God’s heart and intent, we become free from the trappings of discontent and dissatisfaction. Grow.  Jesus spoke in such a way that left people awestruck. They either embraced his message or felt threatened by it. His death, burial, and resurrection confirmed the truth he proclaimed and ignited a movement that took the world by storm. Become. Jesus left us a community that grew, not because of what they stood for, but because of what they believed. The reality of their faith emboldened them to live beyond complacency but to seek excellence in community and service. Reach. Jesus gave some specific instructions to his followers and over the centuries the church has had to take the directive of the Great Commision to an ever-changing culture. In this message, we look at how the Great Commission is going to shape our Vision 2020 imperative. Matthew 28:18-20

Why? Why is a challenging question. It can be exhausting when it’s the common refrain from a 3-year old, and heartbreaking when asked in the midst of tragedy.
