Change Makers. God expects us to be generous but how much does God expect us to give? Is it based on percentage or something else? How do we know what amount is acceptable? Acts 20:33-38

The Money Trap. How do we lessen the anxiety we have about money in a culture that measures value by the accumulation of stuff. How do we guard ourselves from the peril of more and the debt trap that results? Proverbs 22:7

A Matter of Trust. Money and happiness are often treated as two sides of the same coin. The level of one is determined by the level of the other. What if this thinking is wrong and, in fact, gets us into deeper feelings of discontent and unhappiness? Luke 16:10-13

Pain Management. With most things in life, perspective is everything. Nowhere is it more true than the way we view our money and our possessions. 1 Timothy 6:6-10

Love So Divine. There is no greater example of love than that seen in the life of Jesus Christ. We love as he loved, and any love disconnected from him will never reach its divine potential. 1 John 4:7-19

Hooked on a Feeling. Love is the emotion intended to govern our best intentions. Do we really understand the potential of love and why do we try so hard to harness it?

Alter or Altar? Is love a path to prison or to freedom? Love is often a reflection of our personal experience and nothing scares us more than the demands that love can place on us. Ephesians 5:21-33

Love In-Tension. Is love purely a human response to biological impulses or is there something more? 2 John 1:3-6; John 1:17

The Pillars of Love. Biblical love is built upon some foundational pillars. Understanding them is vital for understanding not only ourselves, but God as well. Matt 22:36-40, 1 Cor 13:1-3

Always Remember. We often live in relation to the certainty of our beliefs. What if God was unwilling to gamble in order to give us certainty through the resurrection of Jesus? 2 Timothy 2:8-10

Palm Sunday. Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey, because God has a greater purpose and plan than our own expectations. John 12:12-19

Escape Route. As believers, we treat the promise of freedom in Christ as freedom from sin, but what if it includes freedom from the bondage of others?

Naming It. Are there signs we are in a system of spiritual abuse? Can we know when we’re entering into a potential danger zone? Ephesians 5:11-17

Distortion. There exists an ongoing battle inside each of us. Somewhere between the darkness pulling us back and the light calling us forward, we wrestle with a distorted view of God. Ephesians 5:8-10

Seeing Clearly. Jesus had harsh words for the religious leaders of his day. What made him so angry and what can we learn about the nature of destructive spiritual abuse? Matthew 23:1-12; 28-30

Connected Eyes. How does the unseen world affect the physical world? Are there times when the two interact and bring consequences to our reality? 2 Corinthians 4:1-7; 16-18

Popular culture depicts angels as little cherubs with tiny wings. The biblical picture is dramatically different. What are the key characteristics of the angels as it relates to the unseen realm?

Strange Visitation. Have aliens visited us from another planet? How do we navigate biblical passages that some interpret as proof of aliens amongst us, or is it another dimension from the unseen world? Ezekiel 1:1-28

Phantom. Ghost stories have been around since the dawn of humanity. Few topics make us wonder about the nature of the unseen world than the subject of ghosts. Job 4:12-21

Reaching Beyond. From fortune-tellers, palm-readers, to horoscopes, we long to see beyond the physical and into the future. What motivates those who search for answers in the unseen world? 1 Samuel 28:5-17

Thunderstruck. Isaiah the prophet received a vision of God that forever changed his life. As Isaiah was given a glimpse into the unseen world, he gives us a picture of its reality and importance. Isaiah 6:1-8

Whether we are aware of them or not we all have priorities in life. As we face another year full of new opportunities and challenges, let’s focus our priorities in a way that sets life right. Psalm 73:25-28

As a year comes to a close and a new one is dawning, we often find ourselves framing tomorrow through the lens of the past. What if God isn’t finished with us quite yet? In this closing message of 2017 we are reminded that our story is never complete until every chapter is written. Matthew 10:1-4
