The sacrament of communion is a "means of grace" that is a: (1) remembrance of Christ's body and blood given for our forgiveness (1 Corinthians 11:23-25); (2) reminder of our participation in the Lord's sacrifice (1 Corinthians 10:16); and (3) recognition of the Church as the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:17). We are shaped by participating in the body of Christ.

Congregational singing is part of our Victory worship services, where the community worships God together through songs. Through the songs, believers worship and magnify God as they grow in their knowledge and awe of Him, while unbelievers experience and acknowledge His presence. We are shaped as we celebrate and proclaim who God is, what He has done, and what He promised to do.

When we gather to draw near to God, we are shaped and formed in worship (as the called-out ones) into a community of faith. As a community, we hold fast to the confession of hope and grow in love and good works. God’s image in humanity is expressed through the values that point us to who God is: life-giving, loving, gracious, and just. When the Body of Christ works together to be God’s hands and feet to the world, God is glorified and His vision for fallen humanity is redeemed through the Cross and His written word. God’s image in the church community is seen through the unity of the Body of Christ. As His children, our values reflect who God is, which is expressed in how the local church reaches individuals and families, transforming the Body of Christ into God’s hands and feet. Our individual talents and skills, which God has given us, were made to work together in community.

The resurrection testifies to the truthfulness and credibility of the Gospel given to us. It gives us a new hope that transcends death and despair to eternal hope. Therefore, we can live our lives with an unshakable hope in the midst of our current pains.

Jesus' crucifixion is central to God's reconciling work. The cross becomes the means by which humanity is drawn back into relationship with God.
