God's love for the world is the driving force of mission. His sending of Jesus demonstrates that he actively seeks to reconcile the world to himself.

Scripture : Matthew 2:1-12; Micah 5:2; Isaiah 9:6-7 ( Supporting: 2 Corinthians 1:20 ) The chain of evidence found in Old Testament prophecies is now being fulfilled in the reactions of the Magi and Herod. God keeps His Word perfectly and so we trust in the certainty of His promises as He transforms our relationships.

Scripture : Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38 (Supporting: Hebrew 4:15 ) Christmas will not be complete without Jesus’ incarnation. The Virgin Birth establishes Christ's sinlessness, the essential requirement for the cross, strengthening our devotion to His perfect humanity and deity.

Scripture : Matthew 1:1-17; Luke 3:23-38 ( Supporting: Rom 15:4 ) God's redemptive plan throughout history has been fulfilled in Jesus. His genealogy proves His legal and physical right to the throne, enabling us to rely on His promise and to steward our calling in His kingdom.

The Bible is understandable in its teachings, especially concerning essential truths about salvation and practical Christian living. This means that any believer with the guidance of the Holy Spirit can read and understand the plain meaning of Scripture.

God's word plays an essential role in giving us the knowledge of God, salvation, and how to live a life that is pleasing to Him. Without God's word, we would not know the truth that leads t o eternal life, nor would we know His will and purpose for our lives. God's word is necessary for faith, spiritual growth, and guidance.

God's word contains all the knowledge necessary for salvation and for living a life that is pleasing to God. This means that the Bible is sufficient to guide believers in matters of life, doctrine, and practice. There are no additional revelations, traditions, or human insights needed to complete God's word.

God's word is above every other belief system, opinion, or idea. Since it is God-breathed, it is t h e final authority for our life, doctrine, and practice.

Our using of finances for God's purposes is pleasing to God. We do not have to be afraid to give because God will supply all our needs according to the riches of His glory.

We c a n learn t o b e content whether in plenty or in need through Christ who gives us strength.

One of the key ideas in Paul's letter to the Philippian church is "partnership in the Gospel" (1:3-11, 2:17-3:1, 4:10-20). We are to use our finances to b e partners in advancing the Gospel. The fruit is God being glorified and praised.

Fear : The Destruction of the World (Revelation 21:1) Hope : The New Heavens & New Earth (Revelation 21:2-8, 22-27) At His return, Jesus will "make all things new," He will rule in righteousness and justice, and we will eternally enjoy His presence.

Fear : The Mark of the Beast (Revelation 19:20;20:4) Hope : The Defeat of the Devil (Revelation 20:7-9) & the Rewards of the Righteous (Revelation 20:11-15) Jesus will return to defeat the devil and bring judgement. The righteous await the rewards of their labor and suffering.

Fear : The Great War (Revelation 19:19-21) Hope : The Grand Wedding (Revelation 19:1-10) Jesus' return is marked by royalty, victory, and majesty. Our ultimate hope as believers is the return of the King, the groom of the bride (the Church).

Jesus is better than anyone or anything else. No one is better and more worthy than He. This compels us to respond with faith, endurance, and praise.

This "better life" refers to the eternal life promised through faith, beyond temporary suffering or earthly deliverance. This highlights the hope of resurrection and everlasting life, which motivates believers to endure hardship.

Our assurance rests in Christ, and through Him we have "better possession." In this passage, while some believers faced imprisonment and loss of property, we will emphasize that our true inheritance, crowned with glory and honor, is a lasting reward that cannot be taken away.

The heavenly things needed to be purified with better sacrifices than those of the old covenant, demonstrating that Christ's sacrifice surpasses all previous offerings.

The covenant and ministry of Jesus are far better than the old. This new covenant brings superior mediation and guarantees better promises than those of the old covenant.

Jesus has provided a better covenant. This new covenant, established through Christ, offers a better promise of a secure relationship with God.

Despite the warnings, we can remain confident of better things for us, better promises and blessings that accompany salvation through Christ. This confidence is based on a firm assurance anchored on God's unchangeable character and sealed by His unbreakable oath, guaranteeing our hope and securing our future.

We will look at why Jesus is the better high priest. While the Levitical priests offered sacrifices for sin, Jesus, as our ultimate high priest, provided the perfect sacrifice, securing our eternal redemption.

This week, we will highlight how Jesus is better than Moses. While Moses was a servant in God's house, Jesus is worthy of greater honor as the builder of the house.
