Yes, my stress is on an all time high and I’m hitting the gym more. So now I need to slow my roll…meaning take rest days. Not a day but days. I will because I really don’t need another person saying am I losing weight. Life is Life’ing and I'm not about to lose control over my well being. I’m good, so no worries. K bye!

The Kid feels she needs to protect her sisters heart from heartbreak ( we ain’t there yet ) and to stop her from experiencing life as a 20 yr old. Mainly, because it’s putting her on the back burner. That’s part of a long text the 20 yr old sent me yesterday. She needed to talk and asked if she could call me. She never has to ask, all she needs to do is call. The call lasted 2hr 27 mins and I think the last hr & 27 mins was all her. She’s fighting a demon ( her mom ) and holding onto trauma. Something I know her, the kid and myself need help with. 2024 we’ll work on that. K bye!

The Cassie vs Diddy lawsuit got y'all splitting lines. Got y’all questioning her motives. Got y’all saying it’s a money grab, but wait y’all silent sorta regarding Diddy. So the Kid turns 18 in two days and my supervisor sent her gifts. We all know what it means to get gifts for any occasion, but for the Kid this is new. She’s now part of a family that has traditions and does gifts. There’s no age limit, no cutoffs. So she’s getting excited and I’m excited for her. Bring on the gifts! K bye!!

It’s Election Day and I hope you rocked the vote. Let’s be clear a non vote is a vote. Laws are changing and rights are being stripped away. If you feel one vote can’t change anything you’re sadly mistaken. But a non vote changes a lot. Let that marinate in your brain. K bye! # govote

It’s late, 12:56am and in hours back to school for the Kid. She’s as ready as she’s going to be. She put her bag together, I ironed her shirt & pants and set my alarm for 7am. It’s her senior year and it’s not the start she wanted, but it’s the one she created. Now let me go to bed and get some sleep. Later y’all!

We’re in senior year and she’s not on course for graduation on paper. So it’s testing time. When you play follow the leader this is what happens. Since I’ve known this child I’ve always stressed stop following others. The result of that is you will either get left behind or have to play catchup. Pray for my sanity, but I won’t let her fall.
