Hey y’all its been a minute or two. The Kid has graduated and now she’s moving on to a new chapter….Life. Here’s a little catchup and I’ll try to not stay away so long. K bye! 

Six more days til graduation. The Kid is anxious and stressed but we’re almost there. This journey has been hard fought and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here. The skies the limit Kid! 🤎

This episode is about the 1 year anniversary of surrogates passing. April 1, 2023 is the day that changed my life as I knew it. I’m speaking specifics of that day and all that transpired in the days, months and year since. It’s a day I know I won’t forgot, but I’m not going to let it hold space moving forward. K bye!

Last night the girls got chatty. We were all over the map ( not literally the map ). So before I could finally segway into wrapping this up dudes entered the chat. I’ve been reflecting on & off for weeks now regarding my life. Mainly, about how it’s changed. The traumatizing event of surrogates death and soon it’ll be one whole year. The Kid growing up and the other still trying to find her place. I’m sure come 4/1 I’ll sum up that year. K bye! 

Today is senior picture day for the Kid. It was like a proud parent moment and I’m not her parent. I’m not ready, but I am ( not really ). I know come graduation day I’m going to be a crying mess for a whole lot of reasons. I love that Kid! K bye!! 

The day finally came and the Kid got her septum piercing and a tattoo to boot. Look she’s 18 and it’s her body. I’m not about to block her, but I do have my limits. Besides I have many tattoos. lol! Saturdays outing was with her dentist bff who also got her septum pierced. It was cool and a fun afternoon. Oh and yeah, I got a tat. K byeeee! 

Recapping the week as it’s been eventful. I’m recapping that life is life’ing, stress, the Kid, Oscar still White, POC hair still an issue, this Presidential election year, etc. Still trying to figure out how to do me with all I got going on, but I’ll figure it out.
