It dawned on me last night that deep down inside, I actually DO want a sequel to Tim Burton's hit Beetlejuice... I truly do. Normally these long awaited (20+ year wait) sequels tend to flop and ruin so much. But with the right people involved, this could actually work really well within the Tim Burton universe for the titular character. Just some thoughts on what I would do here. Enjoy, y'all.

Some deaths of token black people in movies are expected... But some of these are just plain foul and heartbreaking for me. What a treat to realize this underrated gem of mine was celebrating it's 23rd year in cinema... This is easily one of my favorite films ever, and one of Tupac Shakur's most underrated films also. Nope... You just can't recreate this. John Carpenter has put his stamp on what was based off of a classic novella, and what was made in 1982 still holds up. The 2011 prequel tried to live up, but was a CG fest, yet pretty fun to watch. But this, this screams "No" all across the arctic. Anaconda is a film that could have easily been a box office flop... But with a nice blend of humor as well as horror, it's a 90s "When Animals Attack" gem. Watching bad CG ridden movies on SyFy makes me appreciate it even more, and the sequel actually. But The Meg has opened up the flood gates for more water beasts to be seen on screen once again, and Anaconda is getting the old reboot treatment....
