Since 2000, we've had five Scary Movie entries... Count them, five. Only two of them were hilariously funny, while the rest lacked any and everything that the Wayans family members brought to make the movies special in the first place. Not that the spoofs can't work without them, but it's almost like they didn't even try to make them as funny and raunchy, which is a big mistake. This rumor of a re...

This one here gave me many nightmares, and for good reason... Horror that plays on isolation, restraint, torture, the unknown, it all works well for me. Eli Roth delivered something that would instantly become a horror classic, and ruin road tripping and backpacking ventures for all ages. The viciousness is used wisely and sparingly but when it lands, it fucking LANDS. Enjoy, folks.

For the life of me, I cannot stop watching this trailer... It gets my excitement and curiosity going each viewing, so I start to theorize a lot more than usual. But one of the things that's on my mind is how much of a physical role Tony Todd's Candyman will play here. Because we sure don't see him. We get his face in a reflection, some shadows and such... So who exactly is in that fly new coat and...

The Jurassic Park series has surprisingly been hit and miss for me personally... Only because the whole horror movie tone I got so well in the first movie has been lacking ever since. And the one time I got it back in it's full glory, it was only the opening scene of that shitty entry Fallen Kingdom. With that being said, there's a LOT of things not in favor of this new film coming out. Enjoy, peo...

I knew nothing about this at all, but gave it a spin or two to see what it was about. This is a strange looking Indie film to say the least. Enjoy, y'all.

I'm 100% invested in The Walking Dead original series... It's my favorite show ever on TV. And while I have no intentions of investing in any spin offs, y'all know zombies overall peak my curiosity. So I decided to check this here out and give the idea of it a fair shot. Enjoy, folks.

I got a hit up on Facebook about this here, and I had no idea what it was... But not only do I like some good short films, I like the ones that are horror based and Philly bound. So I figured why not do another first time watch commentary, especially for something that wasn't time consuming. The catch here?... I needed way more time. Enjoy, folks.

It just had to be a damn tv show didn't it?... They just can't learn from the already horrendous three different versions of George A. Romero's underrated classic Day Of The Dead. So what do they do? They go back to the drawing board with yet another dumb ass idea. Only THIS time, it's going to be on the small screen. Well, this is a bit if a small rant. Enjoy, y'all.

I will start by saying that this is Stephen Sommers' best movie, and his underrated gem... No offense to how fun his first two Mummy movies were and how much silly fun I had with G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra, but this has a great blend of horror, comedy, and adventure. There's a cast of actors here who would be seen on screen a lot these days in much bigger roles, and it's great to see. There's also a...

I have to be honest when I say that all this Candyman trailer chatter has my brain on overload... Much of that overload comes from the fact that I'm glad socially relevant black horror movies are back in the forefront as of recently (Us, Get Out, The First Purge, etc.). I'm big on the way lots of those types of films are layered and with Candyman 2020 looking a bit relevant for today's climate, it...

I've noticed that there's a very unnoticed thing happening with horror movies that may or may not pick up... Candyman 2020 has been the most recent film to give a slasher movie the "direct sequel" treatment. It works both in the favor and against the films it follows up on, and the films it disregards in it's new story. I don't get too deep into, but I just touch up on a few things I've peeped in...

It's here... Finally. It's had my curiosity from the moment it was announced. That is all. Enjoy, y'all.

I remember going to my junior prom only back in high school... And to be honest, as bad as this remake is, my prom was so boring that I would have been so lucky to have a serial killer step in and shake things up a bit. With that being said, this movie still doesn't get a pass from me. It's so tame, and so lame all in one swoop. Not as terrible as a few of the commentaries I've done, but worthy en...

Lots of people were so happy go lucky when Disney bought Fox... Not I, people. I knew that while this was a BIG business move, this was also a BIG mistake for more than a few properties. In particular, properties that were once carrying a hard R rating. Disney ain't having it! And here's three properties I think will suffer quite a bit due to this merge. Enjoy, y'all.

This was almost coma inducing to sit through again honestly... I feel like I no longer have a soul I can claim, and that's just depressing. But that's how this movie makes me feel. After a sure classic of an original film, a laughably enjoyable sequel and a completely underrated love story of a third entry, this brand name has been shit on in every sense. This is embarrassing, and has no redeeming...

I used to make up scenarios to convince myself that the survivors of The Return Of The Living Dead and Return Of The Living Dead III actually lived at the end of the films... That's how attached I was to those characters. This series, the first and third movies in particular, is so underrated in so many ways. So to get news of a graphic novel, that Don Calfa himself was apart of, is about to be re...

The Fast train just doesn't seem to slow down much at all, does it... And I don't mind it one bit. This series could pack as many NOS tanks as they want, and I would forever be riding shotgun. Apparently there really is a female led spin off coming at some point, which is amazin news. This series has definitely earned that on screen, being as though the female characters have been bad ass since da...

Surprisingly the Sonic The Hedgehog movie wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but it's also been cleaning up at the box office... So good for them over at Sega and Paramount. With how well it's doing and being as though this Sonic universe is massive, a sequel is inevitable. There is actually many ways that this sequel can learn from the pros and cons of the first flick, so I talk a bit about wh...

This series of films is one that I'm not too particularly crazy about honestly... I mean, they broke barriers in action/sci-fi cinema for certain. But I'm not on the hype train for these like everyone else is. So imagine my excitement levels when a fourth entry was announced. Not that I hate these at all, I just have seen a lot more entertainment in these types of flicks. But it's not all a downer...

The recent Planet Of The Apes trilogy was actually a pleasant surprise for me, and the conclusion to that was an emotional ride as well... So when it was announced that the property would be going bananas again, I was curious as to where it would go. Scrapping an entire storyline is easy these days and done nonchalantly, but I'm pleased that this will be an actual continuation to the previous stor...

So will this next Scream be a reboot, a sequel, or a tv series?... I couldn't tell y'all for sure. But all I know is that if there's indeed going to be another person donning the Ghostface mask and costume, this needs to be a sequel for many reasons. It's well overdue as we're well into a sequel/universe era, and horror resurgence altogether. Enjoy, people.

Don't get me wrong here... There is MUCH fun to be had when I watch this movie. But the majority of the things this flick tries to get away with just can't be excused. So it kind of pained me to categorize this in the Shit Show. But the show must go on. Sorry about this one Jason, but this wasn't your best killing spree in the series. Enjoy, folks.

There's a good reason I haven't been very vocal about this sequel, and I wanted to keep it that way... But what type of podcaster would I be if I did that? The first movie is a GEM in every sense. So here, I state why I haven't been saying much about the ideas of this new follow up that's right around the corner. Enjoy, folks.

To say the least, Friday The 13th has been in some deep shit for years... So much development hell, and it sucks because Jason has been there already. With the legal battle still underway, an article broke recently and discussed some bits about the FT13th CW series that almost was. There were also some pics of early concept designs for not only Jason's mask, but his unmasked look and classic mache...

Completely last minute and random, but just the title alone made me curious... Then add the term "creature feature" to it, and I'm on board for sure. I kept it really short this time. Enjoy, people.
