I was in a black horror flick type of mood (once my failed commentaries took a toll on me), and luckily I found this gem on Tubi... I hadn't seen this one in a minute, so now was a better time than ever. Big shout out to Mr. Ernest Dickerson for having such a heavy hand in the horror genre from early on in his career. I was really glad to find this again and talk my talk during, especially being a...

I absolutely adore a great film that plays on senses... Wait Until Dark, Hear No Evil, Jenifer 8, etc. So being as though I've slept on this here for sooo very long, I took advantage of Netflix once again and decided to check this out. I actually was not disappointed at all, but I do a lot of talking to the screen due to characters making dumb decisions. But we wouldn't have a solid horror/thrille...

Maaan, listen... When I say this here was quite the horror experience, I couldn't put it into any other words. Just when I thought Pennywise was the only one to creepily clown around on screen, I came across Art The Clown himself. This guy is no laughing matter whatsoever. Enjoy, people.

Anthologies are always a great time in horror... Creepshow, Tales From The Crypt, Tales From The Hood, they all can tie together so well. So I was curious to see what made Sam Raimi put his seal of approval on this one here. Enjoy, folks.

I stumbled upon a true black cinema comedy classic earlier today, so I had to speak on it and during it... This one is a gem. I was feeling it during this one, but not too much. That is all. Enjoy, people.

How many of you horror movie buffs can honestly say you scare easily?... I'm talking the slightest sign of danger type of scared. Not I. It takes more than enough to scare this CineManiac, and it doesn't even always have to be a wild and off the charts scare. It can be something as simple as dialogue, or a single shot in a film, etc. It's all about how the scare itself is executed. But there are a...

I wasn't too big on the idea of a sequel to Train To Busan to begin with... It's a modern classic. But we've got zombies. And I love zombies. So I checked this out. Enjoy, y'all.

Safe to say, Covid-19 has been a real bitch... Even Life itself would be appalled. As a movie buff, it bothers me that my precious films (the good ones anyhow) have to suffer as well as other affected during this time. I feel like films are all people have as an outlet at times, and they're slowly being compromised. But I can understand why. Here I'm just discussing a few of the films being put on...

I'm not one for the pranks and hijinks this day brings about, but it's funny because I enjoy watching them on screen nonetheless... So this was a must. Even though this is one of those movies that led me astray as far as the outcome, these characters here are written so much better than the average 80s slasher flicks. So it was well worth the viewing again. Happy April Fool's to my Tutor Reviewers...

With Batman 2021 shutting down it's production recently, all I'm left to do is wishful thinking in my head... Just living in the land of DC ideas that could be amazing if I had a say so. Being as though Batfleck is my favorite version by far, I realized that the closest I've gotten to anything resembling Arkham Asylum was the warehouse fight scene in BvS. So with that being said, I came up with so...

With the release of the new sequel coming in June (hopefully), this character in general has been on my brain heavy... Candyman not only still intrigues me, but he scares the shit out of me. That's a win in my book. So I found the original flick and decided to be both scared and entertained by it during. I won't lie, this viewing hit me a bit differently this time. There's so many new found layers...

Is this a good video game adaptation?... No. But is this one of the worst in the moshpit of terrible video game adaptations? Absolutely not. This movie is always fun to watch, even through the many things it does wrong here. One if the things is does do well is tap into that old gamer geek inside of me, and hits me with some solid nostalgia at times. But I have a lot of the fun here just poking fu...

Marvel this, DC that, and a few rumblings of Valiant now that Bloodshot has been released... But have we forgotten some of the other, lesser known and beloved superheroes from the 90s? There's so many that I didn't even get a chance to take notes on or even mention, but the ones I've got here would make for some solid modernizations on the big screen. Enjoy, y'all.

I had been wanting to check this out since the moment I saw the trailer... There's a BIG shortage in water beast films in horror that we got back in the day: Jaws, Alligator, Lake Placid, Deep Blue Sea, etc. So multiple alligators as opposed to a single one had me curious for certain. Sam Raimi cosigning on an Alexandre Aja film was also a big plus. This one was an experience to say the least. Enj...

Apologies in order, because I meant to upload this last night... But after finishing this, I realized the world could have waited. Much like horror cinema could have waited. Though this is a bad movie, I can't act like all of the Leprechaun movies have been rational or great in quality. This is one of the two I have the most fun poking at, so space is where it's at. Enjoy, folks.

If there's Michael Myers involved, I'm more than likely intrigued... Be it fan film or theatrical release. As far as the fan films I've seen tackling Halloween, most were let downs, with the exception of a very small handful. But this here... What a find to occupy my time with no regrets. Enjoy, people.

Two words have shaken the entire world: Corona Virus... And what's crazier than the behavior people have shown the past week or so is the fact that this idea isn't too far fetched. There's been panic displayed in horror cinema for years, whether we just get sick or turn into zombies or crazies. Hopefully nobody takes this episode to heart, because I'm having fun here, as I do. Enjoy, y'all.

The Rock can do no wrong on screen really, even in a film that is far from amazing... But him and Emily Blunt on screen could be better than him and better/bigger company on screen in a Jumanji sequel or two. So I gave this a spin or two and shared my views. Enjoy, people.

It came, I saw, it conquered... That is all. This movie looks to be something different. Enjoy, people.

Instead of me fishing for my copy of the Night Of The Living Dead remake, like a normal person, I came back around this this dope documentary on YouTube... What a find this was back when I first came across it a few years back. There's a reason that NOTLD 1990 is the best horror remake for me, but to see how some of it was done and hear points of views from the cast/crew is epic. So of course I ha...

I hate this movie... Let me just make that clear. This was a shot to the heart in every sense, especially me being a die hard Halloween fan. It's a travesty. And you know what? This was an intentional sabotage plot by none other than one of the people involved themselves. Enjoy, people.

If there's Janelle Monae on screen, there's time to react to it... Yet another fresh reaction to another movie I was completely unaware of. But any black thriller/horror on a psychological level can be a solid watch for certain. Enjoy, folks.

I saw this was making slight waves online and as many gripes as I have with Disney right now, I went into this trailer completely blind... I don't know a thing about the source material whatsoever, so I figured that would make for an ever better and fresher reaction. Enjoy, people.

The OG Leatherface had a birthday today and I can't lie, it made me miss the big guy quite a bit... Even though Tobe Hooper, God rest his soul, is responsible for this film, it wouldn't have worked without Gunnar Hansen. And since this film is in my top 10 horror films of all time, I had to celebrate the man himself with some commentary, done in a way I only know how to do: informative and silly a...

Having watched a short film last week called If Likes Could Kill, I didn't know another short from the same creators would be coming my way today... Producer Nick Peetros personally sent this to me, so I watched it right away. There's a lot of ways a short film can or cannot work, but this was another one with a sweet payoff. The creep factor here works pretty well too, so that is always good for...
