I'm actually a fan of the Tremors series... The first film establishes very well that these are cheesy B-movies with giant monster worms, and it's heavy on the comedy aspect. So there's always fun to be had with these. Also this is one of the few horror series that has a reoccurring character in each of them, played my the same person. Michael Gross as Burt Gummer is the real MVP. Enjoy, people.

This is one of those gems that I can't seem to stay away from... I'm not sure if it's the slasher aspect, or the fact that this is equivalent to the stuff I once wrote at some point. But it gets right down to the nitty gritty, and pulls no punches. Which is what a horror movie should do. When you give me black cinema, a rom-com, and all the ingredients that make the best ones tick, I am ALL in... I held out long enough with this movie, and I'm not sure why. This was such a gem to find... It was a childhood theater experience for me but even as a kid who was a horror fanatic, I never realized just how dark the humor was in this. This has always been a certified Wayans classic for me... Those guys (and girls) are inspiring to me, and unfiltered in a way I can't even imagine getting to. Being as though last Christmas was not only Black as night but it was wack as shit, I was interested to see what Dave McCrae was going to do with a new fan film take on this property...
