One of my top 5 horror remakes of all time... This here is one for the books. There's plenty of cringe and shock value to be had here, and that doesn't always work for horror, or remakes for that matter. But being as though I'm not the Evil Dead purist/fan most are, I was more than open to the idea of a serious toned take on an already wild property. This got me once again. Enjoy, y'all.

I tried something different, and went with some talking over a tv show as opposed to a movie. It wasn't until I was already done the episode, I realized this wasn't my first rodeo with a tv show commentary. I also did Creepshow episode one. But nonetheless, this was interesting. Enjoy, people.

The commentary binge continues, as summer just continues to shed this hellish heat upon us... Safe to say, this isn't weather I think even Julie James can get hooked on (pun intended). Summertime is kicking our asses out here so far, so this seems more than fitting for the occasion... The only thing scarier than the state of the world is Ben Willis in a slicker, ready for some cat and mouse. This is the 90s slasher people more than likely mention after Scream, and rightfully so. So in my back to back (what it seems like) commentary amongst the Big Beasts, I found myself back with the elm Street series... Freddy is a character that's hard to hate, yet hard to be taken seriously these days. Once he became a joke, it was hard to make him a horror figure again. But that doesn't mean I don't always have love for even my least favorite entries. Enjoy, people.

One of my favorite, if not favorite overall, hood movies ever made... And the movie that cemented Tupac Shakur's acting career 100%. In honor of the late great artist/MC/revolutionary/etc., I decided this flick was a must to discuss. It's basically a black horror movie, so what's not to love? Enjoy, y'all.

I originally was going to do a review for this, but I decided this commentary was much needed... And since this is a topic I've been itching for it had to go down today. This is a I feel is pretty misunderstood, which is an understatement when talking about the TCM series. But I've always respected what this sequel set out to do, which was go back to the source material. Enjoy, y'all.

Due to more of my unpopular opinions, I have to state how much I love this sequel... It's actually my favorite sequel after the original, and for good reason. It takes everything I love about the idea of Scream, and capitalizes on it all. I can only hope the next entry Radio Silence is working on is as entertaining as this here. Enjoy, people.

There's been so many attempts to being back old Wolfy into the fold, whether it be a solo flick or a connected universe flick. Some have been decent, and others not so much. Leave it up to our good friends at the MPAA to consistently nit pick at some glorious gore effects on screen... The crazy thing is that it seems as though they're WAY more lenient towards horror movies now that they can be so unfiltered (Saw, Hostel, The Hills Have Eyes, etc.). I just hate the idea of practical effects geniuses having their hard and amazing work turned into something that's tame,...

I'm sure I've never seen this harmless childhood game played quite like this before... When you throw in dark humor, horror and cult antics, things are bound to get bat shit crazy. I wasn't familiar with these directors here, but Radio Silence has gotten the acclaim from this here for good reason. Enjoy, y'all.

Be warned, people... I didn't know this movie trailer's dialogue was going to be in straight up Russian, and I tried to be vocal about some lines in the subtitles. Not what I'm used to, so my apologies if this throws listeners off. You just can't keep a good remake down... Or in this case, what I think will be a bad one in every sense. You just can't recapture certain 90s nostalgia, man. It doesn't matter who or what is attached to the project... There's no topping something like this original cult classic, so I just had to vent about the overall idea of this nonsense. Leave it up to Christopher Noland to give me a movie that looks like it'll make my head hurt... During the morning of my hangover. But I'm intrigued to say the least. Enjoy, people.

First of all, I have to apologize to anyone who may be tuning in and/or watching the film with me as the commentary goes along... There are some very minor moments when the DVD I was playing skips, but nothing too serious. But other than that, I had to take the time out to admire one of my top 5 zombie movies ever made. Characters I was emotionally invested in, social commentary, guns, gore, loote...

Charlize Theron is certainly loving these kick ass action roles, and she doesn't seem to be letting up... And I can appreciate that. She's already proved that she's more than an on screen chick who's easy on the eyes. She can take those eyes, turn them into grenades, and make you believe otherwise. So of course I have to see her play an immortal, gun toting bad ass in a Netflix original. Enjoy, y'...

Being as though I'm a huge Creepshow and Creepshow 2 fanatic (fuck Creepshow 3 or whatever that was I saw), this is long overdue for me... The fact that Greg Nicotero put his creative seal of approval is a big statement here. The essence of horror, comedy, and comic book style filmmaking has always been apart of this property, so I was curious to see if those elements were still in existence here....

Ironically enough, this movie was my first review on this podcast and my second episode ever done back in October...
