Sorry I had to do this one so quickly, but I kept my daughter distracted so I could even pull this off... It's here. That it all. Enjoy, people.

Sorry I had to rush this one and keep it short, but y'all will get the idea once you tune in... Enjoy, people.

I know this movie isn't a straight up biopic and that it's very loosely based on one or several R&B groups from that time period (The Dells in particular if I'm not mistaken), but I focused on the film itself overall... I didn't want to cloud the episode with a bunch of mix and match facts I wasn't sure of. But all in all, this has always been a home run for me. There's the music, but there's also...

We got us another creature feature on our hands but this time, it's from the hands of the same director of The Chernobyl Diaries... I haven't seen that one fully but I'm a sucker for found footage stuff, so I may soon. I hadn't heard a single word about this film at all but if it's a monster on the loose, practical effects to be seen, and cherry pie to be splattered, I'm all for a go round here. E...

Better late than never, but I couldn't miss out on telling y'all my crazy theories and overall thoughts on this last trailer... While pretty tame for a Super Bowl spot (they drove a car through a skyscraper in the Furious 7 Super Bowl spot for God's sake), there are sooo many things running through my mind as far as what they showcase here. I see a lot of family, so that's also a big plus. Enjoy,...

Black superheroes, for better or worse, have been around long before Black Panther made cinematic history on the big screen... Some comic book material based, and others being original ideas. Either way, I'm here for all the diversity and proper depictions of us on any screen. There's been some hits and misses overall, but I had to take time out to celebrate and discuss the males and females who h...

I recently went back and checked this one out, and I quickly remembered why it has always stood out to me... But funny enough, it seems to go unnoticed amongst the majority of horror/thriller fans out here. The flaws are far and few in between for me, but the film overall is certainly one of the more creative whodunits to come out of the entire 2000s era of the genre. It was only right I discussed...

There's a lot of dumb ass ideas I can let slide in front of my on screen... This not being one of them. As if this kid hasn't terrorized the music industry enough with shitty music, he has to now venture off into the film industry. And into a film based off of one of my favorite childhood games. So in the words of a winner of an Uno game, "I'm out". Enjoy, y'all.

When you think of 90s/2000s slashers, you may automatically think of Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, or Urban Legend... But this is a slasher movie to ride that wave and not only be mature about it, but not go overboard with the in your face references, or try to be something it's not. I have always had much respect for this film and it's director, since he did Urban Legend. But this was...

Alright, alright... I will give this a fair shot. But only because I consider myself a fair man at the end of the day. Enjoy, folks.

I didn't expect to see this just yet but there was some brief news earlier about both a US and Japanese remake of Cube, which took me by surprise... And since I'm an overall big fan of the original film, of course I had to check this one out. The original Cube is such an underrated gem to me, and it's got a great sense of claustrophobia to it, which adds to how the characters are quickly able to t...

There's been a huge shortage of vampire films honestly... Good ones anyway. With the exception of things like the Twilight series, there hasn't been a big enough vampire property to generate an insane buzz across cinema, which pisses me off. These types of flicks are the only time in my life where I don't want to be sucker free, because I do enjoy a good bloody vamp go round. But there's definitel...

Leatherface always had the insane potential to be one of the horror genre's most imposing and relevant slashers ever... But numerous writers, directors, and sequels clearly had other plans for the crazed cannibal. It sucks too, since he's one of the slashers that was loosely but very closely based on real life serial killer, Ed Gein (the events and crime scene callbacks are spot on at times during...

When it comes to zombie flicks, y'all know Night Of The Living Dead 1968 is my heart and soul... But one of the movies that completely changed my perspective on zombies was The Return Of The Living Dead. For the uninitiated, it was a certified landmark film in the genre, and introduced a whole new backstory for what made zombies tick. There were new rules that weren't to be tampered with if you wa...

As much as I always wanted another entry to The Mighty Ducks, I never thought I'd see it happen... But Disney+ has shown me, a few times, to never say "never". Not only is the quacking about to commence on the ice again, but both original trilogy writer Steven Brill and star Emilio Estevez are back on board here. But with my excitement comes my concerns as well. So I took some time out to backtrac...

I won't lie, I started running out of steam after a while when I was covering this series... I'm sure y'all will hear it in full towards the end of the episode, but I survived. This series isn't all bad. But the bad certainly does outweigh the good overall, at least from a franchise point of view. It's all over the place, much like a Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, or Hellraiser. But there are som...

In the wake of losing beloved actress and just overall amazing soul Cicely Tyson, this episode was a MUST... Yes, she has a plethora of films and tv credits to her name. But every single time I think of her, I think of how much of a bad ass she was in this movie overall. While she's not in it as much as I'd like, she's luckily got a certified powerhouse cast to back her up in her absence. From Lau...

I won't lie to y'all when I say I almost got choked up by how passionate I felt about this particular episode... If you listen close enough, you hear it at some point. But because I feel like there's this strange narrative for black women in the film industry, I wanted to speak my piece and let them know I am 200% behind what they're standing for, and 300% proud of what's happening. Black Queens,...

Cue my sigh... First of all, let me say that I enjoy even the worst guilty pleasures on screen. This is someone who loves the Doom, Battleship, and G.I. Joe flicks for what they are. But this is a bit different in the sense that I didn't expect ANY of this from a FT13th sequel. We've been off the rails before with a telekinetic teen against Jason, a blatant teleporting Jason, etc. But this is unli...

I went into this thinking it was footage strictly for these two films, but I quickly noticed I got more than I bargained for... That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Especially since HBO Max is doing us movie buffs a solid favor by streaming these flicks. Enjoy, folks.

Of course I'm still going insane thinking about both the possibilities of Fast 9 and how epic it's going to be... But since they're being stingy with an actual official second trailer, I've been stuck in my head conjuring up fan theories faster than Dom heads for cliffs with no backup plan. Since Vin Diesel calls these films trilogies, I think a LOT of Fast 9 will tie heavily into Furious 7 in par...

A single character's journey on screen is one thing... It takes a lot for one character to put the entire weight of a film on his/her shoulders throughout, so I admire that. But two have TWO characters clash, collide, coincide with one another in one film can be epic. If it's done properly. For decades, there's been characters running into or through each other... From Frankenstein to Freddy. Whet...

(HUGE MISTAKE HERE... I kept saying the director of this was Michael Dougherty, and it is in fact Adam Wingard. My apologies, listeners.) Sweet. Baby. Jesus... It's here. Enjoy, people.

This last portion of the season cannot come fast enough, man. Enjoy, folks.

Nope!... I can not, under any circumstances, deal with insects, arachnids, whatever the hell you want to classify those buggers as. It was all good when I used to study them in school and think they were harmless as a kid. But my savvy got better, and I was wise enough to know they are not to be fucked with. So I made a short list of flicks that always stuck with me as far as the creepy crawlers a...
