The Christian is not bound unto the law.  He/She is bound unto Christ.

We can be anything we want to be in the United States of America, because we have the freedom.   As Christians we can live victoriously, because we are free in Christ.  The worse life is a life of bondage.  

In this passage the Apostle Paul answers the question, "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?"

In this study of Romans 5 Pastor Kevin Akana shares with us the blessings of Justification.

Verses 1-8,  Justification is by God's grace thru faith alone. Verse 9-12,  Circumcision is not a basis of Justification seeing that Abraham was justified by faith before he was circumcised. Verse 13-16,  God's promise to Abraham did not come by keeping the law. Verse 18-25,  Summarizes Paul's argument by concluding Abraham was justified by his faith and not the law.

The first three chapters of Romans tell us that all are condemned.  In this message Pastor Kevin Akana shares with us how we can be justified, and not condemned.

Chapter One - The Heathen (The Unrighteousness) are condemned by Creation. Chapter Two - The Hypocrite (The Self-Righteous) are condemned by his Conscience. All the world is condemned, and in this chapter we see that the Hebrew or the Jew is also condemned before God.  

In Romans 1 we see that the righteousness of God is revealed through the gospel.  In this second part study of Romans 1 we will see how the wrath of God is revealed.

Paul wrote this epistle to the Romans while he was on his third missionary journey.   In this passage we will see that the righteousness of God is revealed through the gospel of God.

The LORD Supper is one of two very important ordinances of the local church, the second being baptism.  In this passage of Scripture Paul gives important instruction on how to observe the LORD's Supper.

Acts 28 ends with Paul being under house arrest, while he waits for his appeal to Caesar.  After the events of Acts 28, what else do we know about the Apostle Paul.  In this message Pastor Kevin Akana shares with us "the rest of the story" of what he believes happened to Paul after he appealed to Caesar.

  Paul is going to Rome just as God had said.  While he is in Rome, he will be under house arrest.   This will not prevent him from preaching Christ to those who came to him.  

Jesus is the master of the storm.  Sometimes He calms the storm. Sometimes He calms your heart while you go through the storm.  In this chapter Paul is going to Rome just as the LORD had said.  On this journey Paul is going through a storm.  In this passage Pastor Kevin Akana shares with us the many lessons about storms.

In this chapter we hear these sad words, "Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian."   It is not enough to be almost persuaded.  We need to be altogether convinced that Jesus is LORD.  

"The Christian life is full of trials."  In this chapter we see that Paul is on trial.  Paul stands before Festus as he is kept in Caesarea.

In this chapter Paul is on trial before the governor Felix.  The orator Tertullas makes his accusations against him, but the Apostle Paul is allowed to give his defense.

Paul speaks before the Sanhedrin to give his defense.

In this chapter we see that Paul is allowed to give his defense to the Jews.

In this chapter Paul journeys to Jerusalem.   As a result the entire direction of his ministry will change.

Here we see Paul is in his third missionary journey.  In this chapter we see the perils of sleeping in church:).  Thankfully Paul was an Apostle and had the gifts of an Apostle.  Therefore, healing this young man was not a problem.

For three months Paul was in the synagogue "disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God(Acts 19:8)."  

The Apostle Paul discipled Aquilla and Priscilla.  Aquilla and Priscilla discipled Apollos.  As Pastor Kevin begins this study of Acts 19, we will will learn of the importance of discipleship.  

As this chapter begins we see Paul leaving Athens and moving on to Corinth.  Paul completes his second missionary journey and begins his third missionary journey.

In this chapter we see Paul in Thessalonica, Berea, and Athens, as he continues in his second missionary journey.
