In the final ‘blessed’ statement of Matthew 5, Jesus announced, ‘Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.’ In this sermon we consider the subject of persecution, why Christian’s face it, and how we can endure it.
