Travolting

“One of the most vile movies I have ever seen in my life.” - Stuart, Travolting Cohost “I wish I could erase this movie from my mind.” - Beth, Travolting Guest “Pretty good in the beginning, got a little worse throughout, but all-in-all an okay movie!” - Jeff, Travolting Host For the record, Jeff did go on to retract his statement and admit this movie is pretty awful.

After 50 episodes of Fraser’s highs and lows, this movie is the one that finally firmly breaks Jeff. In the words of Jeff: “This is such a nothing movie. It’s creepy. I hated the entire thing. It’s almost like the movie kept trying to break me and it did.” Stuart and Justin though had a good time making fun of this movie while Jeff made his dinner reservations while the recording button was still...

Justin Long and Evan Rachel Wood star in this 2010's indie rom-com where a washed up writer who's sweating over what his next great book is going to be, meets a girl and decides to go down the noblest route to charm and win her love... facebook stalking...

Fraser returns to the animation world playing an action hero alien from outer space who relies on the brains of his smart older brother, Gary, played by Rob Corddry. After winning the Oscar for Best Live Action short for the 2011 film, "The Shore". Terry George goes off to make another movie dealing with Irish characters, this time though with Brendan Fraser, admittedly a non-Irish person who seems to almost have no business in this movie but we find him here anyway? We're very confused.

NO ITS NOT A MOVIE ABOUT FURRIES!! Well actually... it sorta is? Describing what this movie is but Fraser is in it so we had to cover it. Playing a real estate agent tasked with destroying a forest preserve inhabited by numerous animals, Fraser goes to war with the woodland creatures as we see before our very eyes the horrific lengths animals are willing to go to defend their home and (in the Vin...

Based on a true(ish) story where Brendan Fraser plays a father who struggles and perseveres to find a cure for his two kids who have a rare condition known as Pompe Disease. Joined by grumpy doctor researcher Harrison Ford, the two race against the clock to save the kids' lives with the aid of... you guessed it... Big Pharma.

The era in which we all fell in love with Brendan Fraser. His peak period. From George of the Jungle, Blast from the Past, The Mummy, and more; Fraser gave it his all during this era and because of that, took a massive toll on his body and mental health. We're very happy to see our man back in action today, and while we look back on this era fondly, it's important to understand that it wasn't all...

After The Mummy 3 gets buried by critics, Fraser turns to an old friend for help: Stephen Sommers. He asks Stephen: "Hey Steve, I'm kinda looking for work right now since The Mummy 3 didn't do so well. Got anything in the pipeline we could maybe collaborate on?" Stephen's response: "How would you like to be in one scene in this new movie based on a toy franchise?" This episode is full of surprises...

Whoa whoa whoa folks! Before anybody says "Jeff and Stuart... THIS IS TV!" It in fact is NOT YOU LOSERS. But for real this is actually a TV movie. Technically THREE TV MOVIES that we are combining into one episode. Timmy Turner and his Fairy GodParents parody the classic movie trilogy which involves a special character voiced by the amazing Brendan Fraser.

In a world where there exists magical people who have the ability to bring to life the objects or people they read from a book, this movie would rather us watch a very sleepy Brendan Fraser (we hate to say it, but its true) and his likewise magical daughter go on an adventure to find their mother who got sucked into a book years ago. Sorta like a book version of Jumanji? Kinda?

The O'Connell's are back and this time.... they're in China!!! China had mummy things right? Well whether they did or not this movie says they do but in addition to mummies, there are also dragons, yeti, elemental bending abilities, and a whole undead army buried beneath the great wall of China. What did the bembridge scholars write about this?

NOT the sequel to Journey to the End of the Night. In this film, Fraser plays the classic academic professor who embarks on a quest to discover a new world with his trusty younger sidekick, Josh Hutcherson (pre-Hunger Games).

A movie that connects the lives of four people who also signify the four fundamental human emotions. We got Forest Whitaker as Happiness, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Sorrow, Kevin Bacon as Love, and the almighty Brendan Fraser.....Pleasure.

Here's a first for the Travolting boys... Michael Keaton!! Very first movie covered with Michael Keaton in a leading role! A bit disappointing though since this film is a very by the numbers movie about salesman trying to learning the ins and outs of how to be great at their jobs. Nothing exciting happens during the last five minutes. Nothing. At. All.

A prequel to the 2008 remake "Journey to the Center of the Earth"? No... a film starring Fraser and Scott Glen as a father/son duo who runs a club-brothel in São Paulo, Brazil attempting to sell drugs but find themselves going against each other when personal vendettas come to light.

In 2005 a beautiful film showcasing the lives of people who undergo a heartfelt change of how they view themselves and the world around them in an environment filled with a culture of hate and prejudice. We laughed, we cried and we fell in love with these people on screen. That movie of course... is Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger. Oh? What's that? Sorry folk...

9 years after Space Jam, 18 years before Space Jam 2, was the ultimate Looney Tunes live action film where Brendan Fraser plays the stuntman for.... BRENDAN FRASER!?!?

This early 2000's comedy stars David Spade in the role as a washed out actor who was once a very popular child star who desires to be back in the spotlight, but in order to land this heavily desired role in a Rob Reiner movie, he first must understand what its like to grow up with a normal family. So what does he do? Hires a family to let him crash at their place for a while. What could go wrong!?

What first started as a 10 episode mini-series where each episode was 7-9 minutes long and the normal viewing option was vertical on your iphone is now an 84 minute movie in horizontal viewing mode. So you guys know what that means.... the Travolting boys are back with another John Travolta film to cover!

OUR BOY WON!!!!

Based on a book written in 1955 warning us about the dangers of American involvement in other country's affairs. Can you guess where the story is set? Vietnam... Michael Caine plays a British reporter living in Saigon alongside Brendan Fraser who plays an American with large ideas for Vietnam. Jeff and Stuart had a great time discussing all of the subtexts between Caine's neutral and impartial pos...

Fraser returns as Ricochet O'Connell in the 2001 sequel to the 1999 action-packed blockbuster The Mummy! The sequel to the film that skyrocketed Fraser's stardom is also rejoined by stunning Rachel Weisz, Arnold Vosloo, John Hannah, Oded Fehr, and introducing a brand new face you have never seen on screen before.... DWAYNE THE ROCK JOHNSON!?!?!? That's right. Jeff, Stuart, and first time guest Jil...

You folks remember that early 2000's movie about two people switching bodies and it becomes a whole fiasco of them trying to get back into their original bodies and chaos ensues and affects their families and careers? We're not talking about the 2003 film Freaky Friday, we're actually talking about the 2001 Henry Selick film, Monkeybone. Brought to you by the director of Nightmare before Christmas...

In this 21st century comedy, Brendan Fraser plays a down-on-his-luck but lovable goof that we all know and love. His desire? A girlfriend. His problem? Too socially awkward. The solution? Sell your soul to the devil for seven wishes but each wish comes with a caveat that ruins the whole experience until he figures out for himself that the key to true happiness is to be selfless. Truly an experienc...
