Top Down Perspective

Sean fell ill and Jon is gone. Paul holds down the fort; he's played SOMA and Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes. Some news stuff happened and people decided to bombard him with questions from the chat. We'll be back next week with a real show. Hope this will do for now.

Sean and Paul talk a good deal about The Beginner's Guide. Paul has also been playing the Star Wars Battlefront beta. Sean is quite into Rock Band 4 right now. Jon moved into his new office. Far Cry Primal is announced, along with a release date for the finale of Tales from the Borderlands.

Because of Jon's move, he hasn't really played anything this week. Paul is checking out Jotun and the Rainbow Six: Siege beta. Sean isn't enjoying his time with Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer. News is also quite scarce. We talk about the new monthly subscription service from Humble Bundle as well as the PS+ games for October.

Not a whole lot happening this week besides Jon moving. Because of it, he's only been playing Mario Maker, Paul has only played some Secret Ponchos and Sean has been wrapping up Grow Home and enjoying Ace Attorney 2 on the iOS. Not a lot of news besides Life is Strange coming Oct. 20 and you can hack your PSTV by sending an email to your vita?

Cats are the reason Paul isn't here....Jon has been playing Grand Theft Auto V and Apollo Justice. He also discusses Super Mario Maker with Sean, alone with Grow Home and Ancient Legacy. News is mainly TGS talk, we also bring up Nintendo's new president, and Star Fox getting delayed.

Allan Shumacher from Bioware joins us these week as Jon takes a break to recover from dental surgery. He's been playing Shadowrun Hong Kong and Invisible Inc. Sean talks about Super Mario Maker, Forza 6, and The Deer God. Paul continues with MGSV and Mad Max. For news we talk about Pikmin 4 being announced, Shovel Knight's expansion, and Pokemon Go!

Jon is away at PAX Prime this week and we miss him terribly! Sean has been playing Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Tales from the Borderlands episode 4, Sage Solitaire and trying Capsule Force. Paul continues with Parappa the Rapper and Policenauts. We also discuss Madden's latest crazy trailer, the Games with Gold and PS+ games for September, and Youtube's new game streaming service.

We return to Jon playing more Picross e6. Sean continues with Lifeline, plays through Journey on PS4, and tries out Pac-Man 256. Paul is playing Relic Hunter Zero and getting upset with Skyforge. News is scarce but we talk about the 2DS's price drop, the 3DS's NFC reader coming soon, and Picross 3D 2 being announced.

With Fallout Shelter coming out on Android this week, that's basically the only new thing Paul has been playing besides Olympia Rising. Meanwhile, Sean has been trying out his own mobile game Lifeline and is still playing Rocket League while Jon streams a bunch of games and chats about that! It's all about Rare Replay this week as Sean and John discuss the games they have played from it. Sean also brings up the board game Flash Point. News is mostly Gamecon, specifically Microsoft's press conference. We also talk about awful Konami work conditions and a couple game delays.

We're all together again as the schedules sync up and Jon returns from his double convention trip. We discuss the Screw Attack game convention and ConBravo. Paul and Sean really enjoy Life is Strange episode 4 as well as Rocket League. Jon has been playing a lot of Shantae. For news we talk about August's Games with Gold and PS+, the WiiU's TVii feature shutting down, and Razer buying the Ouya.

Things come up this week and Sean and Paul do their solo thing again! Paul has been playing Guild of Dungeoneering, a whole lot of Terraria and is hating on the Binding of Isaac Rebirth Nintendo 3DS port. We discuss the reveal of an old Nintendo PlayStation, Zero Escape 3 being announced, and go through the E3 2015 Critic Awards. 

Happy Canada Day! This week we're all playing Batman and enjoying it quite a bit. Jon also write about Final Fantasy Record Keeper and Sonic Dash. Paul plays through Her Story. Sean continues with Minish Cap and episode three of Tales from the Borderlands. We discuss July's Games with Gold and PS+ games, Club Nintendo finally being finished, and some rumors about Nintendo.

Jon returns from his trip to California with tales of E3 2015. We run through every press conference that went on, discussing everything they mentioned. Bethesda, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo, and Square Enix. We mention our favorites, least favorites and what we are most excited for.

It's the week after E3 and we aren't talking about any of it at all. (That will come next week). Sean returns from his trip to Europe and he talks about Puzzle and Dragons Mario/Z, Fallout Shelter, and Minish Cap. Paul is playing Duck Game, Hearthstone, and Akiba's Trip.

Sean is away this week travelling the globe, so Paul and Jon call to Hank ( @comicpanels on twitter ) to fill the void in the podcast and their hearts in Sean's absence. Sean played and finished a lot of games this week, including VLR, Splatoon, Game of Thrones episode 4, and Life is Strange episode 3. Paul played the last one as well and tried out Elite: Dangerous. As for news we bring up a possible Need for Speed release date, the first Nintendo Humble Bundle, and stolen Amiibos.

Jon is away at MomoCon and Sean just continues to work through VLR. Paul plays a good chunk of Axiom Verge and tries out Dungeons and Dragons. The next Need for Speed game gets announced, a weird pack in deal with Splatoon is mentioned and we discuss the removal of the 8GB WiiU as an option in Japan.

A break in his apartment's water pipe makes Jon too busy this week. Sean however is here and continues to talk about VLR, he also checks out the latest update to Mario Kart 8 and plays some Pushmo World. Paul is trying out Axiom Verge. Neither of us are playing too much right now, Paul isn't even here. Jon finishes Mortal Kombat X and Sean plays some Race the Sun and Monster Bag.  We discuss the official announcements of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, the next Assassin's Creed, and Disney Infinity 3.0. We also bring up the PAX Prime ticket sales and the preorder situation for Rock Band 4.

Late recording this week as the crew spent Thursday night seeing The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
