Top Down Perspective

Things come up this week and Sean and Paul do their solo thing again! Paul has been playing Guild of Dungeoneering, a whole lot of Terraria and is hating on the Binding of Isaac Rebirth Nintendo 3DS port. Sean has gotten huge into Rocket League, enjoys his time with Where Is My Heart? and Tembo the Badass Elephant. Not a lot of news; Hearthstone expansion was announced, the ESL has started drug-te...

With Jon away, Paul at work and Sean busy this week, we take unconventional methods to make sure we get you the utmost quality podcast out that you're used to by having Sean and Paul record their parts separately and mashing them together like potatoes! Paul plays more Rocket League and gets down with Odallus: The Dark Call while Sean finishes Batman: Arkham Knight, plays around with Monument Vall...

This week we're talking about a lot of mini-golf. Everyone discusses more Batman. Jon is also playing Sonic Dash and FF Record Keeper. Paul is very excited about Rocket League and checks back in with Terraria. Sean tries out Alphabear and Entwined. We discuss the reveal of an old Nintendo PlayStation, Zero Escape 3 being announced, and go through the E3 2015 Critic Awards.

Sean continues with Minish Cap and episode three of Tales from the Borderlands. We discuss July's Games with Gold and PS+ games, Club Nintendo finally being finished, and some rumors about Nintendo.

Jon returns from his trip to California with tales of E3 2015. We run through every press conference that went on, discussing everything they mentioned. Bethesda, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo, and Square Enix. We mention our favorites, least favorites and what we are most excited for.

It's the week after E3 and we aren't talking about any of it at all. (That will come next week). Sean returns from his trip to Europe and he talks about Puzzle and Dragons Mario/Z, Fallout Shelter, and Minish Cap. Paul is playing Duck Game, Hearthstone, and Akiba's Trip.

Sean is away this week travelling the globe, so Paul and Jon call to Hank ( @comicpanels on twitter ) to fill the void in the podcast and their hearts in Sean's absence. Hank has been enjoying the new Double Fine turn-based tactic game Massive Chalice, being a cowboy out for revenge in Westerado: Double Barreled and trying to kill God in Devil Survivor: Overclocked. Jon has been in the ink playing...

In this rather over-stuffed episode, Jon is back to talk about MomoCon and where he's been hiding out for the last two weeks. In the time away, he's been playing Mario Puzzle and Dragons and Stretchmo while Sean finally starts up Axiom Verge. The two also talk at length about Splatoon. Paul, on the other hand, has been playing MMOs he can't read (Blade & Soul) and is actually super excited about i...

We also bring up the PAX Prime ticket sales and the preorder situation for Rock Band 4.

Late recording this week as the crew spent Thursday night seeing The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Due to this, the first while is talk about that (no spoilers... promise!) but we get right into the game talk afterwards as Sean dances around in Crypt of the Necrodancer, rounds up llamas while skiing in Alto's Adventure and doesn't have much fun with Never Alone. Paul dives into the new Hero Siege DLC,...

In news, Nintendo doesn't want players talking to each other, Layton turns into a card game and LEGO has... surprise surprise, toys you can buy for their video ga...

This week Paul's work keeps him too late to be on the show. Jon starts up Dragon Warrior 2 and Battleblock Theater. Sean plays through Game of Thrones episode 3 and the odd Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious. The news is main the recent Nintendo Direct but we also bring up Assassin's Creed Chronicles, Quantum Break's delay, and OnLIve officially ending.

Internet issues aside we are all together again. Sean and Paul play Hotline Miami 2, Life is Strange episode 2 and both finish Ori and the Blind Forest. While Jon picks up and goes on his work trip, Sean has been playing some more Evolve and finally has the opportunity to get the most out of the Jackbox Party Pack when some friends come to visit! Paul has been building some intricate weapons in Beseige, stressing out adventurers in Darkest Dungeon and going full Barry-mode in Resident Evil Revelations 2. In the news: TellTale teams up with Lionsga...

Sean is away this week so Paul and Jon do the only logical thing: take a whole lot of listener questions! Remember: if you don't like this episode... it's kind of your fault!

With Valentine's Day coming up, Jon gets in the mood by playing Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans and... Cliffhanger? Sean catches up with the newest episode of Game of Thrones TellTale game, Evolve on the Xbox One and Framed on the iOS while Paul plays Heroes of the Storm. Not much in the way of news other than Zelda might be coming to Netflix? Also, a whole bunch of questions!

Paul tries out Dark Deception, Castle in Darkness and Life is Strange (along with Sean). Jon is just continuing with his everlasting quest to play every Picross puzzle ever. Club Nintendo releases their final rewards, variant color Amiibos are on their way and Sony no longer own Sony Online Entertainment.
