January 3, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 03.01.2022 32:37
Friends of the Rosary: In his first coming, Jesus Christ, the light of the human race, was not received by his own people (John 1:10). The world preferred to stay in darkness. Twenty centuries later, one-third of the world knows that only the encounter with Jesus Christ can save us from our personal and collective sins. That’s progress. Although we are still very far from adopting the light and et...
January 2, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 02.01.2022 30:09
Friends of the Rosary: We hold our sight in Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ at the beginning of the year. Through the Most Holy Mary, God delivered to us the grace of salvation. Jesus came to save us from our sins, and Mary was the vessel. The Word was made flesh through the Virgin. Now, those who freely decide to follow Christ are eternally saved and got out of the slavery of sin. This Christmas — a...
January 1, 2022, Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 01.01.2022 29:45
Friends of the Rosary: We start 2022 by celebrating, along with the New Year’s Day, the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God — observed as a day of obligation. This way, we sanctify the day in Christ and Mary. “Mary is the masterwork of the mission of the Son and the Spirit in the fullness of time,” explains the Catechism of the Catholic Church. In the plan of salvation, “the Father found the...
Dec 31, 2021, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 31.12.2021 31:17
Friends of the Rosary: New Year's Eve is celebrated at evening parties, where many people dance, eat, drink, and watch fireworks. All of it is fine because we express our joy. However, let's not forget that we are still on Christmas and this season is about the birth of Jesus Christ in our hearts. Twenty centuries ago, He came to our rescue as we were so lost. Today, we still need the light of Chr...
Dec 30, 2021, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 30.12.2021 27:49
Friends of the Rosary: Reflecting on the scene of the Nativity, the mystery of the Magi shakes us. The Three Kings journeyed from the East to pay homage to a baby born in a stable in Bethlehem. They were overjoyed at seeing the star and prostrate in front of Christ the King of the Universe. They realized that Christ’s kingship was infinitely greater than any other temporal power on Earth. Like the...
Dec 29, 2021, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 30.12.2021 29:00
Friends of the Rosary: The family is — or should be — an experience of love. A domestic church, as we mentioned last Sunday on the feast day of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. In addition, we all belong to a supernatural family, with Our Father, Our Brother Jesus Christ, and Our Mother the Virgin Mary, along with the companion of Archangels, Angels, Apostles, Patriarch, and Saints. We...
Dec 28, 2021, Feast of the Holy Innocents, Martyrs, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 29.12.2021 30:09
Friends of the Rosary: We celebrate today the memory of the small children of the neighborhood of Bethlehem put to death by the wicked monarch Herod. These mass-murdered innocent lives bear witness to Christ, who was persecuted from the His birth by a world that denied the Holy and Righteous One. The persecutors — the political leaders of that time — felt powerful. It's like today's anti-Christian...
Dec 27, 2021, Feast of Saint John, Apostle and Evangelist, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 27.12.2021 28:19
Friends of the Rosary: We observe today the Feast of St. John, Apostle and Evangelist, the beloved disciple of Jesus, leaning on the Master’s breast in the Last Supper. St. John, a Galilean fisherman like his brother St. James, wrote the fourth Gospel, three Epistles, and the Revelation. At the foot of the cross, Jesus entrusted His Mother to his care. St. John was the only one of the Apostles who...
Dec 26, 2021, Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the memory of Maria Blanca 26.12.2021 30:46
Friends of the Rosary: We observe today the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, the model of faithful love for all Christian families. The goal for every Christian family should be to live in harmony and in prayer, as a way to face challenges and difficulties, and share hopes and joys. Families, as well as marriages, also carry their cross. Accepting it, in union and with sacrific...
Dec 25, 2021, Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord, Christmas Day, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In the memory of Maria Blanca 25.12.2021 31:28
Friends of the Rosary: Today, the faithful rejoice by celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ, the coming to earth of the Son of God, the mystery of the Word made flesh — fulfilling, this way, the longings of the patriarchs and prophets. God was incarnated through the Virgin Mary to become man, making us participants in his divine, eternal life. The Creator gave to us the greatest of all gifts, His...
Dec 24, 2021, Christmas Eve, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 24.12.2021 29:14
Friends of the Rosary: As it is read in the responsorial psalm today at Mass during the night, "Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord" The Gospel of Luke narrates (Lk 2:1-14) that the angel proclaimed to the shepherds in that region the good news of great joy. The multitude of the heavenly host with the angel was praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those...
Dec 23, 2021, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 23.12.2021 29:55
Friends of the Rosary: This week, in the Gospel of Luke we hear the mysterious hymn of Mary, the Magnificat (Luke 1:46-56). “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior, for he has looked upon his lowly servant.” The Most Holy Virgin declares that her soul is ordered to the honor and glorification of God. She wants nothing for herself. But the glory that Mary g...
Dec 22, 2021, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 22.12.2021 24:51
Friends of the Rosary: Darkness is twisting the minds of young people in Latin America. Chile just became the latest example of the threat of communism, which, as the Holy Virgin warned in Fatima and Garabandal, goes against God and God's people. A majority of Chileans elected a 35-year-old socialist politician in alliance with the Communist Party. His political agenda includes all of the tricks u...
Dec 21, 2021, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 21.12.2021 30:33
Friends of the Rosary: By Christ’s sorrowful Passion and glorious Resurrection, we’ve been saved from our erroneous lives. Reflecting upon the Passion of the Christ and the sorrowful mysteries, that we pray today, is essential for our salvation. There is joy when our suffering is united to Jesus' own. The translator of the book I’m writing about Maria Blanca believed that my wife "was one of God’s...
Dec 20, 2021, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 20.12.2021 28:57
Friends of the Rosary: Yesterday, the reading in the New Testament was about the Mystery of the Visitation, and today’s is about the Incarnation, the Annunciation. Mary gave her fiat, changing human history. “I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” (Lk 1:26-38). The profound humility of Mary — her surrendering to God — is the foundation of who we are, or should...
Dec 19, 2021, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 19.12.2021 30:52
Friends of the Rosary: Today is the Fourth Sunday of Advent, the last Sunday of our preparation for Christ’s birth. The Word incarnated, the light of the nations, the Creator of all the visible and invisible humbles himself adopting the form of a slave and bringing the message of divine, eternal love. Every soul is uniquely created and loved. We are given life and we are invited to use our freedom...
Dec 18, 2021, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 18.12.2021 30:06
Friends of the Rosary: Because we have received the grace of the virtue of hope, we are able to bring joy to the world. Note that it is not joy from the world but to the world. We are messengers of the truth. People must know about the King of the Universe. We especially rejoice as we celebrate Christmas: the coming of the light to the world, the nativity of Jesus, the third Joyful Mystery. Despit...
Dec 17, 2021, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 17.12.2021 30:49
Friends of the Rosary: Scholars from Harvard University asked in an article this week: “Why does the divine allow suffering and evil to exist in the world?” But maybe the question should be: Why did the divine allow suffering to his only, beloved Son? Jesus Christ voluntarily gave his life for all of us, in a ramson payment for our sins, so we all have the chance to be saved. Instead of second-gue...
Dec 16, 2021, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 16.12.2021 27:56
Friends of the Rosary: Every person is created to be a conduit of the divine grace into the world. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. We are meant to bring forth all the fruits and virtues, as we remind through the mysteries of the Rosary. The closer we get to God, the more alive we are. The problem is sin, which blocks the advance of the divine fount of life. We misunderstand the reality...
Dec 15, 2021, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 15.12.2021 28:09
Friends of the Rosary: The entire Christian life is summarized on embracing the Cross. To achieve spiritual perfection, we have to deny ourselves and follow the way of truth and light, which is the Cross. We can explore all of the ways that society offers or we are able to conceive. None of them will work. The safest for the soul is the Holy Cross of Jesus Christ. God wants that we learn to suffer...
Dec 14, 2021, Memorial of St. John of the Cross, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 14.12.2021 29:21
Friends of the Rosary: Today, December 14th, is the memorial day of St. John of the Cross (1542-1591), a Spanish priest, mystic, and doctor of the Church, who lived and died in the sixteenth century. St. John of the Cross wrote profound essays on mystical theology. He helped St. Teresa of Avila to reform the Carmelite Orden, becoming the first prior of the Discalced Carmelites. This reform caused...
Dec 13, 2021, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 13.12.2021 29:34
Friends of the Rosary: Believing in God requires courage and openness to the Holy Spirit. Because faith is not based on finding easy solutions that console and comfort us. A great example of this Advent is St. Joseph, the holy spouse of the Virgin Mary. He rejected any shortcut nor followed personal projects. Instead, he faced reality with open eyes and a heart ready for the Holy Spirit. St. Josep...
Dec 12, 2021, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 12.12.2021 31:33
Friends of the Rosary: Today, the third Sunday of Advent, called Gaudete, meaning "Rejoice", the Universal Church emphasizes the joy that should be in our hearts — the joy of Christians and the birth of the Savior. Also, today is the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Virgin Mary appeared to an Indian convert named Juan Diego on December 9, 1531. She left a marvelous portrait of herself on the ma...
Dec 11, 2021, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 11.12.2021 31:12
Friends of the Rosary: A question that many people ask: why do we pray the Rosary? Easy answer: Because She requested it. With the Rosary we build a treasure in Heaven, develop virtues, and unite our families. The Holy Rosary brings peace to our lives and to the world. It's a summary of the New Testament and a biblical prayer that teaches us to further love, know and imitate Jesus Christ. Historic...
Dec 10, 2021, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca 10.12.2021 29:05
Friends of the Rosary: The saints in Heaven know of our struggles on Earth and of our prayers. Many passages in the Gospel imply that the saints join their prayers with ours, and ours are joined with theirs. Since the early Church, the invocation of the angels and saints is universally practiced in the Church. St. Paul said in Hebrews 11:1-12:1: “Seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of wit...
