January 28, 2022, Memorial of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 28.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Today, we observe the Memorial Day of St. Thomas Aquinas, the thirteenth-century gifted theologian and Doctor of the Church who showed the harmony among the Catholic faith and the philosophical knowledge. His “Summa Theologica” book was often placed close to the Bible. After a mystical experience, St. Thomas Aquinas said that he could write no more, because “he had seen...

January 27, 2022, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) I In the Memory of María Blanca 27.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: As Jesus said (Matthew 6:7-9), the Father knows what we need before we ask him. Then when we pray our daily Rosary, the wisest thing we can ask is simply that His Will, not ours, be done. The greatest act of faith and trust is to surrender and submit to His WI’ll. We don’t need to inform nor instruct Him. God doesn’t need our counsel. It’s total abandonment into the Divine W...

January 26, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) 26.01.2022

[ In the Memory of María Blanca ] Friends of the Rosary: How would be our life without the Divinity and His Will? It wouldn’t be life. Or, as St. Padre Pio said, “It would be easier for the Earth to exist without the sun than without the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.” We take the gift of life as children of God for granted. That’s a huge existential mistake. Each soul has been uniquely and preciousl...

January 25, 2022, Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, Apostle, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) 25.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Today, January 25th is the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. During his old life, he was a fierce persecutor of Christians. He was even one of the conspirators in the martyrdom of the holy deacon St. Stephan. But by the Divine Will, Grace, and Mercy, St. Paul was made an Apostle, the great Apostle of the Gentiles. He was chosen to be one of the principal instruments of Go...

January 24, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 24.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: We are called to live in unity among us as part of the mystical body of Christ. This is a huge challenge because the Devil seeks to divide us, as a way to block our path to Heaven. He uses sophisticated tactics and misinformation to cause division among marriages, families, communities, countries, and even among the universal, Catholic Church. We are children of God, and we...

January 23, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) 23.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: In Galilee, people with diseases and disabilities approached Jesus, and He cured them all. Christianity is about healing all of us from the disease of sin and often about physical sicknesses. Priests, missionaries, and laypeople serving the poor and sick have been doing this for twenty-plus centuries. This is not metaphorical; it’s the apostolic dimension of the universal ch...

January 22, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 22.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) designated January 22 as the Day of prayer for the legal protection of unborn children. In all the dioceses of the United States, on the liturgical celebrations for this day, priests celebrate Mass with white vestments and give thanks to God for the gift of human life. Faithful are encouraged to pray for the full restoration of...

January 21, 2022, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In Memory of María Blanca 21.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: All souls are created by God and should return to Him. Unfortunately, many souls get lost and are consumed by the fire of hell. As part of the mystical body of Christ, it is our mission to help save souls, starting with our own souls and the souls of our family. We all know this, so we just need to be serious about it. The Evil Doer is in the business of confusing people and...

January 20, 2022, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 20.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Jesus Christ wants us to keep his word and endure patiently (Rev 3:10-11). Those who persevere will gain the crown of life. Or, as He said, “The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God.” What will happen to those who reject Christ? Well, we don’t want to be in their shoes. Unless they repent, they will greatly suffer. They will experience great tri...

January 19, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 19.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Prayer can be a real battle, as the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches. We might experience dryness, fatigue, and even aversion. Pressing duties, obligations, and distractions can come over us. We can be thinking of a million other things. But we shouldn't fall into the temptation of quitting. When praying the Rosary, what matters is to have faith, as St. Louis Mary de...

January 18, 2022, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 19.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: On each Rosary, we say six times the Our Father or the Lord’s Prayer. This is the most perfect of prayers, as Thomas Aquinas stated in his Summa Theologica . This prayer, a summary of the gospel, sets the Will of God as the supreme principle of all things. When we say “Thy will be done” on me, on us, we express our desire of seeing Heaven and Earth merged, so error and sin a...

January 17, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 17.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary Network: Jesus came to take away the sins. If we abide in him we won't keep on sinning. What about those who persist in sin? These people are trapped in darkness. John the Apostle is very clear in this matter. "Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning," he said in his first letter (1 John 3: 8-9). We cannot be dece...

January 16, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the Memory of María Blanca 16.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary Network: Today’s society tries to convince us that we are in control and our life is all about us. But that isn’t true. Each and every one of us is part of God’s great design. It’s a power already at work in us. As John stated in his first letter (1 John 2:17), "the world passes away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." In consequence, we...

January 15, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 15.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: During the last two centuries, humanity has witnessed more Marian apparitions than during all other centuries combined. This is a response to the sophisticated attacks of darkness in these modern times. The Blessed Virgin Mary comes to earth to give warnings about calamities that will happen unless people repent, ask for forgiveness, and turn into Jesus Christ. In many appar...

January 12, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 12.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: The path to heaven is to come to know and follow the will of the Father. As Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). Following the Divine Will may require shifting our priorities and making difficult choices. God never asks anything that we are not equ...

January 11, 2022, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 11.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: How difficult is it to pray? It’s very difficult because there is much noise around our lives, and besides we add much trouble and complications. Our model to imitate in prayer is the Virgin Mary. She is the master of prayer. The all-perfection creature listened and pondered everything in her immaculate heart. Every day, we try to learn to pray with the Rosary of Mary. Our l...

January 10, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 11.01.2022

[ In the Memory of Maria Blanca ] Friends of the Rosary: With his baptism, Jesus Christ fully accepted God’s Will and God’s plan of salvation, which included the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. That’s why the Holy One, who was like us in everything except sin, was baptized by John in the Jordan River. With this epiphany or manifestation, Jesus did another amazing thing: He opened the Heaven...

January 9, 2022, Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 09.01.2022

[ In the Memory of Maria Blanca ] Friends of the Rosary: We celebrate today the Baptism of Our Lord, his second epiphany or manifestation. Through this event — that brings to an end the season of Christmas — intervenes the entire Trinity. At his baptism, Christ was proclaimed the “Beloved Son” of the Father, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him. At Christ’s baptism, the heavens were open. A...

January 8, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | From Garabandal 08.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: We pray today's Joyful Mysteries from San Sebastian de Garabandal, where Our Lady of Mount Carmel appeared thousand times to four girls at the beginning of the sixties. The Holy Mother highlighted the message given in Fatima, calling for an urgent conversion into Jesus Christ. Also, she asked to reflect daily on the Passion of the Lord, pay attention to the Eucharist, visit...

January 7, 2022, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 07.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Love and forgiveness are the same. To love someone we must first forgive him or her. And to love God, whom we don’t see, we must love first a neighbor, whom we see. St. John tells us this in his first letter (1 Jn 4:19-5:4), that we read yesterday, in the day of Epiphany. He also encouraged us to follow the first commandment: “ Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”...

January 6, 2022, Solemnity of the Epiphany, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | In the Memory of Maria Blanca 06.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: We celebrate today the Solemnity of the Epiphany: the Magi come from the East to adore the Savior. As the Scripture said, "And entering into the house, they found the Child with Mary, His Mother, and falling down they adored Him." Epiphany means manifestation. It's the manifestation of the Lord to the whole world, an affirmation of universal salvation. Jesus, the Messiah, is...

January 5, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) 05.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: The Divinity created us in His image. He wanted us to purify our souls, damaged with the original sin and continued offenses committed against the truth. How can we achieve this purification and salvation? By imitating the Word Incarnate, Jesus Christ. We emulate Jesus in his charity, humility, and other virtues. We follow Him unconditionally, knowing that we live — or shoul...

January 4, 2022, Memorial of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) 04.01.2022

Friends of the Rosary: We remember today Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American saint. Born in New York in 1774, she was a mother of five children and a convert to Catholicism. After her husband's death, she founded the American Sisters of Charity, the organization that began Catholic schools throughout the U.S. and especially helped with the education of underprivileged children. At the beginnin...
