Social media - to some, a lifeline into the world of celebrity gossip, career networking, or prank video. To others - a buffet of information that can be turned against you, or even take over who you thought you were. This week we look into the darker side of social media from people who use that information in all the wrong ways, and learn all the wrong lessons.

For those that like to watch, we have something for you. What lurks in the forest across the pond and goes bump in the night? Perhaps it is Nothing, maybe you hear a round of applause, or are suffering from a terrifying disease. It is a joint celebration this week as we officially pass into the triple digits in episode count, and we also join our black friends in celebrating Juneteenth. We go back to a classic Blaxploitation cult classic with Blacula, and keep it modern with a true Junteenth tale in The Blackening.

This week we are revisiting one of our favorite classic movie monsters - the vampire. The vampire has had a multitude of adaptations and reimagining, but these films aren’t breaking new ground there. The United States followed their Manifest Destiny to push the country’s border from coast to coast. There was some wild in that journey west, and we are about to enjoy some tales about the supernatural horror that can sometimes jump out from that dusty old trail. Yes, we are discussing three wild west(ish) films this week.
