Another 4cm overnight on the stake today and yeah: we're all frothing for tonight's dump! Bon weekend! ^_^

A few more centimetres fell overnight and the freezing level will fall tonight with a decent dump forecast for Friday evening! ^_^ Yesterday's alpine skiing was fun with that afternoon visibility window but today's vis will be variable and the winds are higher in the Alpine today: dress warmer ;)

A couple of centimetres dusted the stake overnight and I know your fingers are crossed for the predicted 17cm+ on Friday to eventuate! Mine too ;) Expect a cloudy day with the freezing level still hovering around 1500-1600m.

Well... The freezing level dropped a couple hundred metres overnight and a wet 12cm was on the stake this morning. Happy Thursday!

I hope you had a fantastic Christmas!! ^_^ Yesterday was soggy on my late ski out as the freezing level shot up - along with the winds. But it dropped again in the early hours and there's another 10cm on today's stake! You don't know 'til ya go!

SNOW!!!!! A respectable 15cm has fallen on the Pig Alley Snow Ruler since 11pm last night! HUZZAH. It's a start. And with the freezing level due to really lower this evening - WB are hoping to fire up their Snow Gun fleet! Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas!

Well... 2 degrees at the Horstman Hut last night eh? Woof. It will get better but I know, I know - us pow hounds are hungry. Anticipation is one of life's finest joys though eh? Ha. Happy Monday!

That looks like a solid 8cm on the Snow Ruler this morning with a few more CMs due to fall this morning. The winds have calmed and the ski out on Blackcomb is officially open - huzzah!

Hot damn: wasn't Saturday beautiful with all that snow in the valley? Yesterday too ^_^ But yesterday's high freezing level on the Hill means today will be firm but Crystal Chair and Harmony Chair opened yesterday! Huzzah. Keep your eyes extra peeled for rocks and obstacles still!

Yep: 8cm of new snow yesterday was followed by rain and high freezing levels: +2.5 degrees at 1800m at 11pm and still hovering above 0 degrees at that elevation as of 7am this morning. Translation for snow conditions? Not as crispy as it may be tomorrow with the freezing level due to drop during the day and particularly overnight but you don't know until you go. Expect it to be... average. Ha. I h...

Choo Choo: here it comes - The Pineapple Express. Fingers crossed the freezing level doesn't top out at the summits and bring us rain to the Peaks: potentially dramatically effecting our snow pack for the season. We shall see!
