Sunshine is going to dominate the next few days and northerly winds bring cool air temperatures too: especially tomorrow and Thursday. Happy hunting for those pow stashes!

How stoked are we for freshies? Let's be cautious though: as welcome as every flake is - it isn't a reset and sits atop a super firm base, which reveals itself very quickly. Take 'er easy - especially in the trees where sharks lurk! Sunshine returns today with cooler temperatures too. ^_^

Last night's 8pm flurry brought 1cm to the storm board but skies look clear and beautiful this morning before some clouds move in this afternoon. Alpine temperatures are brisk (high of -9 forecast) but winds from the NW are mild. Wishing you a fantastic weekend ^_^

4cm of dust on crust eh? Sweet! And how good has all this sunshine been? There are some steep groomers to get after today: Ptarmigan and Catskinner in particular ^_^

Damn, there's a lot to be said for sunshine and hot groomer laps eh? ^_^ There'll be less sunshine today unfortunately but if you wanna go fast: Ptarmigan is groomed ;)

How bloody good was last night's sunset eh? Corrrrr. We could be in for another one this evening; with sunny skies all day; and Symphony lookin' like a lovely place to ski with Glissando and Rhapsody Bowl groomed. Happy Tuesday! ^_^

Rain continues and although the Lahar looking slide at the bottom of Bear Paw and the Zig Zag pond skim are somewhat comical - the evacuation alert and state of emergency due to flooding in Pemberton; along with in Squamish is a major concern for our communities and friends. Well... the sogginess continues today! Choo chooo. Today will be a challenge in staying dry for those of you heading up in to the warm temperatures and the heavy rain. How nice was that sunshine yesterday though?

Yesterday was funnnnnnnn! No? Colder temperatures today and flurries expected this morning. Happy Wednesday! ^_^

Yesterday's varied snow conditions: sorbet; cement-imetres; firm, skied out icy patches; spring slush; should be expected again today with very similar freezing levels but today there's a nice 6cm of fresh to cruise on above 1600m!

Well... After Friday's beautiful storm day and cold snow: the weekend was... interesting! Good job we rise to a challenge eh? Lemonade anyone? Happy Monday! ^_^

What a difference a day makes (in temperature) eh? A few freshies fell overnight (5cm) and the snow coming our way (roughly 5cm Saturday and Sunday night forecast) will be wetter than what we've skied recently with the high freezing levels expected this weekend. Crabapple and School Marm were groomed last night! Huzzah ^_^

There's some freshies to hunt down today in the Whistler Alpine: as the northerly wind gives way to warmer, moister air from the south this afternoon with snow arriving and a rising freezing level too. There's currently an inversion however and air temps are a cold -16 at 1800m this morning! Ride with friends

Well... that was a chilly few days! Brrrr. Hopin' you're super well and hunted down some pow stashes over the weekend.

Ha. -30 at 1800m? Nah, I'm good thanks. -20 in the Valley is cold enough - add wind chill and you have yourself an incredibly frigid ski day with real risk of frost bite and hyperthermia. Ride and stay safe and warm!

Brrrrr. Cold weather, incoming today - but there's a nice 5cm atop today's groomers to enjoy according to this morning's stake. Dress warmly and protect your exposed skin!

Sunshine arrives this afternoon, along with a northerly outflow that will bring a temperature of -21 to the valley on Friday! Brrrrrrr. Plan accordingly and remember that the WCSS emergency shelter is available to anyone who needs it when the temperature drops below -10!

30cm and it's a mid-week dump. Huzzzzzzzah! See ya up there ^_^

What a Weekend eh? Wow!! I hope you had a terrific one! We have more snow on the way tonight: so a low vis, increasingly stormy day is a foot. And likely ice skating on the Local lakes by the weekend?!
