Happy Friday! How's your body feeling after a solid week of riding? Stretching, maintenance and rest are key to a long and happy season ;)

Crystal chair opens today! How good was Harmony and its powder access yesterday? The recent cold temps have retained the snow quality in most areas but we found some sun effected spots yesterday and hoar frost in areas. Lets make the most of it before a high freezing level and high altitude rain arrives on Tuesday/Wednesday :/ Happy American Thanksgiving!

Harmony opens today and Crystal cracks on Blackcomb tomorrow - huzzah! ^_^ Sorry for the later episode upload today: I'm readjusting to the early wake up calls and slept through today's - ha! That won't happen on a Pow day ;)

Another gorgeous day beckons today! Cool (I'm still acclimatizing, ha) temps with a high of -6 in the Alpine are forecast with winds up to 20kmh from the southwest. Will we see Sundogs today as well? You don't know until you go ;)

What a weekend eh?? I'm taking a rest day today but the groomers will be prime! ;)

Yours truly is super grateful for a fantastic start to the 24/25 Winter season: great early coverage and another fresh dusting due today!

Eeeeeeep! T-minus 2 days until Blackcomb opens - HUZZAHHHH!!!! This morning's fresh snow in the Valley must have you extra jazzed too, no? Take it easy readjusting to Winter: walking; clearing your vehicle properly; etc. The Pulse will be back to Monday-Friday episodes at 7:15am(ish) as of Opening Day

Ooooooheeee! We're one week away from opening day and a potential 10cm is forecast to fall in Whistler Valley tomorrow!!! Happy Friday. The countdown is onnnnn!

People are still having luck foraging for Winter Chanterelles and Pines; it's a great time to do laundry - like re-waterproof your Gear for impending opening day; and getting your body pre-prepped for Winter. Crocheting and reading a good book (thanks Natalie at the Library) are filling my cup; as are Local Dining Deals! Happy Tuesday

Mornin'! Grey skies give way to sunshine on Thursday

Wow: it is dumping up top this morning! :D Rain and prime foraging conditions in the valley; but potentially slick for biking this weekend - it's toque weather! It's the final week of the Tom Thomson exhibition at the Audain Art Museum; Arts Whistler's Artstoberfest is tomorrow; The Whistler Wine Walk has restarted; and Surf Film Creatures of Habit plays at the Rainbow Theatre tomorrow. Bon weeken...

Ho Boy: the Foraging season is off to a great start eh? Huzzah! We're due some showers until some high pressure arrives late Weds night to bring us a beautiful sunny Thursday. Happy October 1st! ^_^

How gorgeous was yesterday eh? With lots of wasps rumouring a great winter and that fresh dusting on Saturday, I'm beginning to get very excited for Winter. But opening day is a ways away, steady on - let's be present ;) Foraging is peppering instagram and biking is prime! Happy Tuesday! ^_^
