What a day yesterday was eh? Today will be very different with its mixed air temperatures and cloud cover: expect groomers to be...varied.

As happy as I am to see the sun, today's freezing level can take a hike: not a spike to 2300 plus meters! Sigh. It is what it is! Enjoy the Vitamin D and layer down! ;)

Although we'll have flurries and variable visibility this weekend, the cool temps are maintaining great snow quality and you're gonna wanna utilize this window before the freezing level sky rockets, starting on Monday! See ya on lower Gear Jammer ;)

There's a dusting on the snow ruler but don't let that fool ya in to getting complacent: it's firm under foot on popular groomers due to recent volume! Expect greybird skies today and tomorrow with flurries and increased winds. Happy Thursday!

A little wet yesterday afternoon eh? Well that freezing level doesn't really drop until Sunday: expect heavy and wet precip this weekend to be accompanied by high ridge-top winds: stormy! There is lots to keep you entertained, off the hill however ;) Bon weekend!

Get after it before the freezing level shoots up ;) And avoid going off piste below 1600m - that rain freeze crust could mess up your knees big time! Happy Thursday ^_^

What beautiful snow yesterday eh? We have plenty more incoming: with upwards of 25cm forecast to fall from around midday through to tomorrow morning - huzzah! However, today's storm comes with high alpine winds: so expect decreasing visibility for your ski day today and potential early closures for alpine lifts. Another warm day on the hill but things are shaping up positively for a dump on Friday and Saturday

How gorgeous was yesterday's sunshine and sunset eh? Pfff. Yesterday's runs were firm and sporty, with a chance of sliding out on some icy patches. It is already above freezing at every elevation this morning, so expect runs to be firm and higher traffic areas to have more grip - the tin roof corduroy may chatter your teeth. Ha.

Sunshine returned yesterday after a super windy, warm, pineapple blitz on Friday and Saturday. Yesterday was sporty, with mostly dust on crust, but if you have sharp edges: today will be a great day for some social, sunny, groomer laps! ^_^

This incoming system is going to bring heavy precip; with a high freezing level that lowers on saturday night; high winds; and challenging conditions - think schmoo and don't wear it unless it's waterproof ;) Plan accordingly and be cautious in water soaked snow - protect your knees!

Mornin'! There's more sunshine to be had above the valley cloud bank today and spring conditions to boot ;)

I hope ypu're getting to soak up some sunshine on the slopes right now too. This can be an extra tough time of year for people and days like yesterday: reflecting on what brightens your life - really helps fill people's proverbial cup
