THE THREE-HEADED MAN confronts aging and death. Jimmy begins our conversation by calling for help. The help he calls out for is help to maintain an independent lifestyle as he confronts his aging body. Jimmy wants to downscale his life because he is beginning to feel helpless. While he says he has always been "one needle away from death", the reality of death affects his life.

Jazzy returns from a week long Tai Chi cruise with a pair of new eyes. Surprised by how his views of his life have changed after the cruise, Jazzy prods us with questions so that we can help him understand his experience that became a milometer of distance and just a little juxtaposition. Is there a way to get a "milometer of distance" from ourselves without going on holiday?

Phreddie tells a story about trying to teach his primary students that time is relative, then he explains how he is trying to learn Spanish through immersion. After Phreddie's lengthy opening, THE THREE-HEADED MAN wonders: do we bring something from the outside,and it's incorporated on the inside or do we remember what we already know? How do we learn? What is a learning process? Repetition?

Tweaking the direction of life? An advocate for change? Self-Improvement? To tweak or not to tweak? THE THREE-HEADED MAN wonders about he can change anything in our life. Striving to use time better? Striving for an idealized life? Somehow in the midst of talking about the possible changes that can be made in one's life, THE THREE-HEADED MAN stumbles into death. This week's coversation begins with a 1990s recollection of Robert Anton Wilson and his ideas about information doubling. With the context established THE THREE-HEADED MAN explores the various types of information: technology, progress, overload, etc... One could summarize this week's talk as "boomers talk about the immensity of the world" or "boy the internet has a lot of information".

THE THREE-HEADED MAN attempts to understand, "what is quality?" It's another tarnished word, and its significance can be applied to God and to Toyota. On the other hand, one can ponder the quality of their life or extract quality from a moment.

THE THREE-HEADED MAN ponders, "When wishing for something, who do you ask?" Who do you pray to? Who ya gonna call? Who do we ask for help? And, when help or good luck has been received, who do you thank? Where do we send our gratitude?

Can our words change what can happen and/or what could happen? Ordinary words create incantations. Do we have the power to influence events? Superstitions -- "Don't say that, or it will come true." Or the "Power of Positive Thinking." THE THREE-HEADED MAN concludes with a few thoughts about remembering our existence.

The THREEE-HEADED MAN shares the misery of expectations. To project the worst, then "Things can only get better..." or to expect people to act accordingly, then disappointment. The color of expectations. Without expectations, we can enjoy the ride. The expectation of waking up....what does one expect enlightenment to be?

THE THREE-HEADED MAN ponders the marketing of spiritual ideas. He considers the ethics of marketing spirituality. Does it cheapen the journey? Selling ideas. Spiritual and religious stories that entice the imagination. Religious stories.

Where are memories stored? Are they packed in the body in the form of knots and nodes and pain? The muscles' memory. THE THREE-HEADED MAN recollects their earliest childhood memory. Rembering the memories with a story.

THE THREE-HEADED MAN tries to understand the concept of recapitulation or they try to Gather lost energy...they consider their last hour of life. Why is reviewing one's life useful? To Recapitulate ... their dashed hopes.

THE THREE-HEADED MAN wonders about comfort and comfortable clothing and comfort food and personal comfort and familiar comfortable things...and then, sacrificing it all -- sacrificing comfort.

THE THREE-HEADED MAN wonders about doing without stuff and things. Autsterity. This leads to pondering the meaning and use of sacrifice. He concludes by distinguishing between choosing to do without and being forced to do without.

THE THREE-HEADED MAN says that models are real. Models are representations. The model of the thing is the thing itself. "As above, so below"

This week THE THREE-HEADED MAN discusses the tools of Imagination and Visualization. He ponders the relationship between the two concepts. In doing so, wonders about their use in reaching his life aims and goals. While Hans visualizes a Lamborghini, Jazzy recalls a story about Robert Anton Wilson's visualization of finding quarters on the city streets. Are we limited by our imagination? What lies...
