Trump tweets are getting ridiculous to the point of being absurd. The leader of the so-called Free world should not be talking in such a way.  So, what is happening has happened before. I take a look at the Thucydides Trap, a variation, pre-emptive attacks, and the Prisoner's Dilemma.

War rhetoric is increasing, and lines are being drawn. What will happen next is anyone's guess. But which side of the line is better or right side? I offer economics as a way to discover morality.

Now that school's out, I can get back to commenting on the news of the day. The war between Israel and Iran, Trump's more and more obvious mental decline, the No King protests and the problem of Democracy.

Sunday is Jesus Day on this channel always. I am human and am influenced by the events of the past week. I am sure that many people think that the will of God is being carried out through Trump, but I vehemently disagree. What does it mean to take refuge in God and NOT man?

That non-Muslim state off to the side of the Mediterranean Sea bombed Iran yesterday... and Trump revealed that he knew about it and supports it. He even supports MORE bombing. The peace president is a war monger. He lied about wanting to end wars and talking instead of bombing.  Ya know, we could have had Ron Paul as our president, and what a world that would have been!

Even just a few years ago, people feared the possibility of a Nuclear War; Not anymore, apparently. But why not? Couldn't we win a limited nuclear war? Time to refresh our memories about MAD.

Taxes are imposed by governments, but they are also signals to migrate. Tax policies often will have unintended consequences or unexpected results. I list some examples of this phenomenon using the UK as a jumping off point for discussion. Taxation is Theft!

Amid all the riots in LA, there are few (if any) interviews with business and property owners of affected areas. Residents are not interviewed either. While there are stories posted on X, not much more than that. So, that's the topic of discussion for this episode.

Ron Paul's episode today raised the possibility that the riots in LA are part of a Color Revolution. What is it and How is it a color revolution is discussed. Also, on a different tack, Discrimination is good because it means that we have Choice!

Sunday which means Jesus Day. Today we take a look at the Gentle Answer. I use Pres Trump as the jumping off point. Is he gentle with the words, could he be? Well, let's take a look.

Sun Tzu in the Art of War emphasized being vigilant and able to understand the signs all around you. What are some of the signs and what are they saying? A couple of thoughts from the Pro-Peace perspective.

I gave my special speech today. I am happy to say, I don't think I offended anyone. I tried to focus on a topic that would benefit everyone, no matter their age, educational level, and cultural background. Getting good information to solve our individual problems. We are unique after all.

I have to say I'm not surprised Musk is against the new Big Beautiful Bill because it is full of waste, fraud, and abuse, the very things DOGE was trying to stop.  Good for him and for people who still have a shred of integrity left. Some subjective thoughts on the matter.

Still fighting a cold, but I wanted to follow up on yesterday's episode with another way of shifting subjectivity in order to access more information. I have discussed it before on other episodes but in the context of a greater topic.

Hearing the news of the day (the drone attacks in Russia), I thought I would discuss the idea of using multiple perspectives to try to get a handle on what happened and what might happen next.  Other people probably talk about multiple perspectives, but this is the way I do it.

It's Jesus day again.  Paternalism and Selfishness were on my mind these past couple of weeks. That's probably why they were brought up in today's sermon. Blessings.

With all the calls for price fixing and manipulation through government edict, I thought I would do an episode on prices. The Soviet Union did not have price discovery and thus became an immoral country. We are certainly headed in that direction.

I was asked to give a speech at our Middle School moving up ceremony, aka graduation. I thought I would talk about "change." But change doesn't just happen once in life. Life is all about change to the point that the only thing that does not change is change. How do we live in a life where there are no permanent reference points? hmm

America really does have a hypocrisy problem, and it is getting worse. Trump's comments about how crazy Putin is just peak hypocrisy. Or does he already forget the people killed in Yemen? So, what is going on with all this hypocrisy?

It's Sunday/Jesus Day again, and it's Memorial Day to boot. The Apostle Peter exhorts us to Love Life and Pursue Peace. In some ways, with respect to veterans past and present, days like Memorial Day do the opposite.  What do I mean by that and how do we pursue peace and love Life? What might be an alternative?

I was watching Ford vs Ferrari the other day and realized that part of the reason I enjoyed the movie was because it was an underdog movie.  This episode does a quick review of the idea of the underdog effect.  Yes, it's about Hope and Justice.

I was listening to Dave Smith's episode about Mark Levin. Levin was engaging in a bit of Ad Hominem, aka, name calling leading to a dismissive attitude. Now, we all learned calling people names is not a nice thing to do, but why do people do it and what is the price paid for such boorish behavior?

South African President Ramaphosa visited the White House today and depending on who is informing you, you are either reading about how Trump was a Boss today OR he ambushed a foreign leader... who also is black.  The optics were good or bad depending on your subjectivity. More significant is the oceans of hypocrisy spewing everywhere.
