The purpose of my podcast is to motivate you to take ownership of your life, to show you how to operate on elite levels in business and life, and to embrace the mindset that you can overcome anything that stands in your way. Culture Is Driven By Mission - EP 201 18.06.2025 54:06
In this episode of the Spinoso Podcast, Amanda and I kick things off with a little fun—trying to come up with a nickname for her that doesn't sound like we're in crisis mode ("Mayday" is definitely off the table). But from there, we get into something I was seriously fired up about: a conversation I had with a clinic owner in Houston who was struggling to get her team motivated. She said her bigge...
You Need The Spiral Mindset - EP 200 13.06.2025 4:49
In this episode, I talk about something that hit me hard: the idea that growth is not linear, it's spiral. Inspired by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí and his masterpiece, the Sagrada Família, I break down how his spiral-based design philosophy mirrors the path of entrepreneurship. We do not move in perfect lines. We loop back. We revisit old challenges. But every time we return, we rise a little h...
Deep Questions About Business and Life FT. Vaughn Kohler (PART 2) - EP 199 11.06.2025 35:46
In this episode, we are talking about something that impacts every part of your business but often goes unnoticed. It is the connection between environment and behavior. I have been thinking a lot about how much of what people do, whether it is booking a service, joining a team, or staying loyal, comes down to how they feel in the moment. Their surroundings, the vibe, the small details all play a...
Are You Not Entertained? - EP 198 06.06.2025 5:11
There's a scene in Gladiator where Maximus destroys his enemies in the arena, throws his sword, and roars to the stunned crowd, "Are you not entertained?" That moment hits different. He wasn't performing—he was fighting for something real while everyone else watched for blood. And honestly, that's how I feel sometimes as an entrepreneur. There's this constant pressure to be loud, to go viral, to e...
Deep Questions About Business and Life FT. Vaughn Kohler (PART 1) - EP 197 04.06.2025 58:11
Today's episode is something different. It's raw, unscripted, and personal. I'm joined by my co-host, Amanda May, and our guest, Vaughn Kohler, for a conversation that starts with middle school nicknames and ends up diving deep into emotional intelligence, leadership, dating, trauma, and even AI companions. It's hilarious, it's human, and yeah—it gets a little weird. We discuss what it means to le...
Everything Connected Take Action - EP 196 30.05.2025 6:11
Welcome to The Spinoso Podcast. I'm Dr. Alex Spinoso, and while I've built multiple businesses into the eight- and nine-figure range, this podcast isn't about theory or fluff. It's about what I've actually done—what worked, what failed, and what it really takes to lead, scale, and live with purpose. If you're in the arena—building something, leading something, or betting everything on yourself—the...
The Discipline of Reinvention - EP 195 29.05.2025 1:26:06
Today's episode is all about reinvention . Not the one-time, flash-in-the-pan kind—but the ongoing, disciplined commitment to becoming someone better, bolder, and more effective in life and business. I showed up ready for this one because reinvention has been my reality more times than I can count. We're talking about grieving old versions of ourselves, letting go of outdated labels, and embracing...

When Doors Slam Shut and Plans Fall Through - EP 193 23.05.2025 5:13
Today, I want to talk about something that every entrepreneur eventually runs into. When the plan falls apart. You mapped it out, lined up the right people, timed it perfectly, and then boom. It crumbles. And it feels personal. I've been there, and I used to think it meant I was losing. But after building multiple businesses and leading large teams, I've learned this truth the hard way. Delays are...
How To Open Doors Of Opportunity (Part 2) - EP 192 21.05.2025 46:51
Welcome back to Part 2 of How to Open Doors for Opportunity . In this episode, I am joined again by Amanda May, and we go deep into how entrepreneurs can train themselves to see opportunities that are already right in front of them. We share real-life pivots, personal stories, and the mindset shifts that have helped us spot chances to grow, chances that most people overlook. If you have ever felt...
How To Open Doors Of Opportunity (Part 1) - EP 189 21.05.2025 45:22
When people talk about success, they love to glamorize the end result—but rarely talk about the mess, the risks, the decisions made in silence. In this episode, I share the raw, unfiltered story of how I created the opportunities that built my companies from nothing. From listening to the MFCEO Project in between shifts at urgent care, to maxing out half my net worth to join a mastermind I barely...
Why I Tell Clinics Not to Start with Aesthetics - EP 191 19.05.2025 5:43
If you're just starting in the medical clinic space and think Botox and fillers are your ticket to quick profits… pump the brakes. In this episode, I explain why I never recommend starting your clinic with aesthetics as your core service line. The competition is brutal, and the big players can undercut you on price all day long. You'll be fighting uphill battles before you've even found your strid...
Should You Trust Your Gut? - EP 190 16.05.2025 7:18
In today's episode, we're diving headfirst into the balance between facts and feelings—where to rely on cold, hard data, and where your gut might just save your ass. When it comes to business strategy, pricing, products, and systems. You need to operate on facts. Numbers don't lie. But when it comes to people? That's a different game entirely. We're breaking down why instinct is often your best de...
LegitScript: Your Secret Weapon in Medical Marketing - EP 188 12.05.2025 4:15
Let's talk about something that most medical business owners either don't know about—or wait too long to deal with: LegitScript certification . This third-party approval is basically your golden ticket for digital advertising. Without it, Meta, Google, and Bing will shut down your ads the moment you mention a prescription drug or medical procedure. With it, you can speak directly and confidently i...
Welcome The Blowback - EP 187 09.05.2025 4:12
In this episode, I'm diving headfirst into something most people run from— interpersonal conflict . The truth is, average entrepreneurs avoid confrontation because they crave comfort more than growth. They don't want to be challenged or told they're wrong. But if you want to build something that lasts, you need to reframe conflict not as chaos, but as clarity . You need it to sharpen your thinking...

We cover topics like obesity, insulin resistance, testosterone, GLP-1s, gut health, and how traditional medicine is falling short for millions of Americans. We also dive into why your provider probably is...
How to Calculate Net Profit Per Patient Visit - EP 185 05.05.2025 6:03
In today's episode, I'm answering a powerful question that every medical clinic owner needs to be asking: What is your true net profit per patient visit? Understanding your gross profit isn't enough—you need clarity on your actual numbers, including staffing, supplies, overhead, and acquisition costs. Whether you're running weight loss, hormone therapy, sexual health, or aesthetics services, knowi...
Cut The Noise - EP 184 02.05.2025 6:56
Today, I'm calling you out. If you're serious about winning in business and in life, there are three toxic habits you're probably doing on social media that are slowing you down—and it's time to cut the crap. I call them the Three P's : pouting about your private life, pissing on your competition, and posting political rants. If you're doing any of these, you're wasting time, draining your energy,...
Navigating the Workplace as a High-Achieving Woman - EP 183 30.04.2025 50:01
In this episode, we dive into a real and often uncomfortable reality that high-achieving women face in the workplace—jealousy, competition, and sabotage, not from men, but often from other women. I walk through the dynamics of what happens when you shine brightly in your career and how, unfortunately, that can trigger insecurities in others. Amanda shares her own experiences navigating these chall...
What We Use to Train, Track, and Communicate with Our Team - EP 182 28.04.2025 4:46
In today's episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on the internal systems we use at Genesis Lifestyle Medicine to scale and manage dozens of clinics across the country. From team communication to training and HR, it all comes down to choosing the right platforms early and building around them. I talk about how we've used Workplace for Meta—essentially a business version of Facebook—to keep everyone...
What Does Entrepreneurship Cost? - EP 181 25.04.2025 8:19
On this episode of the Spinoso Podcast, I dive into a question that too many people overlook when they jump into entrepreneurship: what does it truly cost? I break it down through the lens of one of the greatest superhero movies ever made— Avengers: Infinity War —and the haunting moment when Thanos says it cost him "everything." While we're definitely not taking business advice from a villain, the...
Managing Strong-Willed Employees - EP 180 23.04.2025 40:05
In today's episode, we're talking about something every business owner, entrepreneur, and leader needs to understand—how to manage strong-willed employees. These are the people who challenge you, question you, and push back hard—but they're also the ones with the potential to become your most valuable assets. I'm joined, as always, by Amanda May, and we're diving deep into what it really takes to...
How Do You Approach The Branding And Design Of Each New Location? - EP 179 21.04.2025 12:53
Look, I'm just gonna say it: the biggest mistake I see new clinic owners make is blowing their budget on looks. Marble floors, backlit signs, fancy front desks—all of it. And then? Crickets. No patients walking through the door because they forgot the most important thing: marketing. When I launched my first clinic, I focused on getting people in, not showing off. One of my most successful colleag...
Moving Forward (One Day More) - EP 178 18.04.2025 7:07
Let's talk about something you probably didn't expect from me: Broadway musicals. I know, I'm the guy who's into Star Wars, comics, Superman, Batman, Wolverine—but I've got a soft spot for a good show tune. And recently, inside our Charismatics medical mastermind, I used One Day More from Les Misérables to teach a powerful concept to our group of entrepreneurs. It's the night before revolution in...
The 24/7 Customer Service Mindset (Part 2) - EP 177 16.04.2025 36:52
In this episode, we're diving deep into what it really means to have a 24/7 customer service mindset—and why it's the most powerful core value in our company. Customer service isn't a department or a job title—it's a way of life. It's how you treat every person who walks through your door, and how you respond when things go wrong. We talk about why listening is a superpower, why treating people li...
