Home groups will start again soon. This time we will focus on discipleship. This week we define discipleship, see what the Church's role is, and look at Christ's commandment to disciple others.

What we think is good might not be such a good thing in Gods plan for our lives. What me think is bad might be just what we need. God wants to make us better not bitter. Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose.

Christians sometimes get distracted and try to get through life on their own strength. This week we look at the Fruits of the Spirit. We are given the Holy Spirit and the Fruits of the Spirit to guide, help, and comforts us in our daily lives.

Last week we began to talk about spiritual gifts. In part 2 of out introduction we deal with some of the issues, doctrines, and misuses that might be associated with spiritual gifts We will look at how to discover what are your spiritual gifts.

This week we start to talk about Spiritual Gifts. Understanding Spiritual Gifts will help us understand how God intends His Church to function and how we are to view ourselves as part of the Body of Christ.

In this series we are endeavoring to learn what it means to live “Life in the Spirit.” One of the huge parts of living “Life in the Spirit” is being led by the Spirit. God longs to meet with you, speak to you, and lead you.

Christians are called to be continually filled with the Spirit. If we are filled with the Spirit and walking in Him our life will be characterized by Christlike characteristics. These are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. This week we study some practical results we can expect in our lives if we are filled with the Spirit.

God intends our Christian lives to be characterized by power. This is so important that the early Church was bared from ministry until the Holy Spirit came upon them. This we we focus on why we need to be filled with the Spirit.

We begin the new year with a new series on the Holy Spirit. It will be a study about the Holy Spirit and living a life in the Spirit. This week begins with a look at who the Holy Spirit is.

Do we live a life with purpose? Are we good stewards? We are to live our lives in such a way where nothing would change if we knew that Jesus was returning tomorrow. Are You Ready?

Pastor Butch leads us through scriptures of promise that remind us of God's promises to will help us with everything we need to lead a life pleasing to Him.

In Genesis 32:22-32 we see Jacob in a period of fear and distress. He sets an example for us to follow in our personal times of need - Lean on Jesus.

Christ has called us to live by faith. There is a vast difference in a said faith and an active faith. Faith is meant to be active.

Worry can be debilitating. We are called to live a life of trust & faith in God. He is in charge, capable, and promises to care for us.

In Luke 12:13-21 Jesus uses a parable to warn against greed. Life isn't measured by how much we own, but what we with what God has given us.

This week we look at the context and significance of the Lord's Supper and the meaning of Communion.

One of the great needs in the Church today is for us to be connected and accountable with other believers in a relationship where we are encouraging and supporting each other in our walk with Christ. The purpose of these relationships is to team up to encourage spiritual growth and maturity in our life and theirs.
