In today’s scripture a Pharisee views himself as righteous compared to others and a tax collector recognizes his sin and unworthiness before God. How do we view ourselves and how do we approach God?

One of the biggest problems and struggles in the church today is for each of us to personally maintain a vigilant prayer life and have a persistence in prayer.

Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one returned to thank Him. When we fail to worship and fail to thank the Lord… it is taking Him and what He has done for us for granted.

Jesus was uniquely close to the Lazarus and his family. Why did he delay his return to Bethany until Lazarus was buried? He loved them and had a divine plan to raise Lazarus from the dead. He wanted to increase their understanding of His power and stretch their faith.

What are the personal reasons to go on a mission trip? What does scripture say about missions? Why do we as a Church focus on missions?

Asking "What is This?" can help Christians and those seeking Christ. When we stop and look closely at a situation we will see the hand of God in each situation or we might avoid a situation of lies and deception.

This week Brandon Fickling teaches on revival. We look at how repentance and faith in the lives of ordinary people can start a personal revival that can spread throughout the church, community, and world.

We all leave behind a legacy. Will yours be one that other try to emulate? Paul said, "Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ." This week we look at a few Old Testament Kings and see how decisions they made changed their legacies.

Sin is a big subject in the Bible. God doesn't take sin lightly and neither should we. Pastor Butch leads us through Genesis 3 for a look at sin and a strategy for victory.

There is often a great difference between what man values and what God values. As good stewards we need to make sure that the faith we claim to have lines up with the life and actions that true faith should have.

We are entrusted with the care and use of many things that are not ours. As good Stewards we are to be diligent with our money, possessions, time, energy, family, relationships, talents, opportunities, and the Gospel. Being good Stewards involves how we use these things now and for the sake of eternity.

Our spiritual lives depend on maintaining spiritual disciplines. One of these is worship. Sometimes we are distracted or just don't feel like worshiping. This week we do some spiritual maintenance with a focus on worship.

Trials in life can test our faith. Pastor Teva encourages us with scripture and testimony that help us consider if all joy when life’s trials begin to discourage us.

Pastor Butch shares a personal testimony about his recent physical heart condition and relates it to the condition of our spiritual hearts. Proverbs 4:23 "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

We missed recording part 2, but this week we review and continue the series. Part 2 covered God's heart for those who have turned away from Him and then return. We continue with a look at the heart and attitude of the self-righteous religious Pharisees. They appeared to be followers of God, but their hearts and attitude were not in agreement with His.

Luke 15 is one of the most popular, well known, and extremely important chapters in scripture. It explicitly tells us about how God views us and how He feels about us. Jesus uses three parables to explain His love for everyone of us.

While the Bible clearly teaches that salvation is free, truly being a disciple of Jesus costs everything.

The person in our story asks a valid and important question about eternity. “Lord are there just a few who are being saved?”

Pentecost is the day when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the followers of Christ. They were empowered to be able to live the life and mission that Jesus has called us to. We want to look at what that means for us and ask, “Do our lives now reflect what happened on the Day of Pentecost?”

There are many forms of evidence that show Jesus is the Messiah. This week we look at a prophetic evidence.

Christians have been given an abundance of evidence to strengthen their faith and prove the truths of scripture. The week we look at how miracles and the reaction of Bible contemporaries validate scripture. We also look at how evidence from archeology and Biblical manuscripts can be a foundation to ones faith.

Some don't believe in Jesus because He doesn't fit their idea of God. Jesus asks those in doubt to look at the evidence that he is God. One can see the truth based on facts and not just blind faith.

There will be false teachers and manipulators in the Church. Those trying to teach false doctrines have tried to corrupt the Church since its beginning. Do you know the Word of God well enough to discern false teachings from the true teachings of Christ?

True repentance that involves a change of mind, heart, and actions will have an affect on our lives. If there is no change in the way that we live our lives or in the way that we think, feel, and act...Then we really have to examine ourselves and ask tough questions. Is my faith & repentance real or am I just going through the motions?
