The Exterminating Angel with Eddy Avilles 11.01.2021 50:40
The movie thing is a gimmick. I just wand to trick strangers who search for movies like Luis Bunuel's The Exterminating Angel. I want them to hear me read stories about my life with Greg and those years in the war. Maybe there's some connection. Eddy Avilles is ACTUALLY very funny. This episode is ACTUALLY very funny. The whole thing. I write about how muc...
Lost In America with Eric Green, Drew Hollway, Jesse James Gettings 09.01.2021 1:09:31
Comedy, catching up, figuring out the sound, and starting the episode wrong with a re-contextualized segment from the interview with Jamal Rahal and Connor Stitt. That part's only four minutes long. Then Bob does one of his ponderous and reference-laden readings for a few minutes before there's a long, funny, deeply serious interview with Eric Green. They talk about the bitter en...
Waiting For Guffman with Molly Brown 07.01.2021 1:22:43
Bob and Molly talk about the television show Frasier. Bob hates it. Molly loves it. They go on and on as riots disrupt the congressional counting of electoral college votes. Bob and Molly talk about that and the fact that both of them have worked in restaurants. Bob reads some diary scribbles from 2018. Molly returns to record more podcast talk about growing up...

Then it's a reading called PARTLY GOOD, CHANCE OF BAD. Afterward, Douglas Haseman and Blayne Arnold join Bob to joke about this stuff and that thing. The sound quality on their portion of the show isn't great, but the c...
Swimfan with Drew Hollway, Jesse James Gettings and Angel Trevino 05.01.2021 1:16:00
Wild talk about war, violence, suffering, comedy, errors, death, misconceptions, ignorance, and more! Great people with creative minds! So distinguished! Funny! Good talk!
Paris, Texas with Antonio Aguilar 01.01.2021 54:26
This is a much more normal one. If that last one was way too "out there" for you, then check out this one. We fixed the sound issues and had a conspiratorial conversation about politics. MF Doom died? Or did he? Happy New Year!
If... With Jamal Rahal and Conor Stitt 31.12.2020 1:07:03
This was a confusing episode with a lot of time spent figuring out what everyone was talking about and how it was funny. The things we experienced weren't exactly the things we all felt at the time. There is an incredible balance of chaos and order, communication and the opposite of that. Mostly it is funny because this was well recorded and stupid etc. for shit with great guests...
Black Christmas with Eddie Aviles 30.12.2020 52:13
Merry Christmas! Christmas is over, and Bob reads a few things before Eddie "Spready Eddie" "Just Eddie" Aviles joins the podcast to discuss COMEDY HUB HOUSTON and his rotten idea of what jokes should be. TRIGGER WARNING: Eddie drops a few "f-bombs." Also there's another reading with a quote from Margaret Atwood and a couple of other reply guys (Douglas Haseman and Blayne Arnold)...
Little Dieter Needs To Fly with Scotty Peterson, Alex Ditch and Joe Esquivel 25.12.2020 1:05:58
Scotty and Bob start the episode with some talk about what happens when it's "the one," or "when it's love." It's just something you feel together, something that lasts forever, when it's love. Bob reads two different diary entries from two different years, and then chit chat resumes as Alex Ditch and Joe Esquivel rejoin the podcast to live and laugh again at The Healing Club.
Mr. Holland's Opus with Greg Deal and Emily Peacock 22.12.2020 49:06
Bob reads a very old diary from when he was nineteen and useless and applying to college. Then there's that dumb ad and subsequently a manic, chatty, nuanced, interesting and delightful Christmas conversation with Greg Deal and Emily Peacock. Great friends having fun. Happy Holidays!
Righteous Kill with Scotty Peterson and Steve Cantwell 20.12.2020 1:05:30
Bob messes around with the microphones alone in his apartment for a while, but then Scotty Peterson is there to share real wisdom and insight through jokes and song parodies. He says Bob looks like Jeff Daniels on the toilet in the movie Dumb and Dumber when he wears that shirt. The interview stops after that, but then Bob does a reading before Steve Cantwell arrives to describe some v...
21 Jump Street with Joe Esquivel, Alex Ditch and Warren Wright 18.12.2020 1:11:54
it's an impersonal banter fest with Bob and two other self-conscious funny people: Joe Esquivel and Alex Ditch. Suddenly it's Bob's political thoughts from 2010. Everyone's obsessed about the health care initiative. Obamacare? Maybe that'll work. Then Warren Wright stops in for a deeply personal heart to heart talk about life and love and being human in these terrible...
Jackass The Movie with Ryan McGhee, Grady Pruitt and Tim Williams 16.12.2020 59:05

Then it's a fun rock and roll segment with Ryan McGhee. They list all the worst songs to have sex to and all the best kinds of laughs. Then Tim Williams and Grad...
Terms of Endearment with Greg Deal and Chris Oddo 11.12.2020 54:57
Bob reads from the 2019 book of Bob. Greg Deal is the man Bob lived with as a gay common law Texas husband for ten years. They have a history. Is it ongoing? Hmm... Chris Oddo talks about his artistic influences and current practices. It is his birthday. They all go out drinking together afterward.
Welcome to the Dollhouse with David LeJeune, Drew Hollway, and Angel Trevino 06.12.2020 1:05:55
Bob reads some meandering joke notes from the sketchbook he used to carry around in 2015, and then David LeJeune stops by to read a poem. Drew Hollway returns to talk about things like his family's political differences and the childhood origins of his hilarious comedy-humor. Angel Trevino pops in to describe a film he's working on. It's a little all over the place.
Viva Zapata! with Grace Kirk 23.11.2020 55:19
Bob reads some pastiche diary entries that make no sense and don't sound good. Grace Kirk stops by and they get really personal about religion, politics, love and death. It's a hoot! Once again, this has something to do with movies and life on the margins of success. Nothing matters. Go home.
Come and See with Andrew Youngblood 18.11.2020 56:49
Diary entry and joke journal from 2017 plus a very candid interview with one. of the founders of the Secret Group, Andrew Youngblood. Bob and Andrew reminisce and bond in a wonderful way. There is humor and humanity in their stories about comedy shows and open mics in Houston through the years. Owning a business and being a father is tough for Andrew during this awful pandemic. &...
Written on the Wind 18.11.2020 1:02:57
It starts with a very deliberately strange diary entry from 2015 and moves to an onslaught of political fretting and overshare. Artist Emily Peacock at one point says "I'm in my problems, so they seem very significant." Bob Morrissey (me) admits that he, too, spent time in psychiatric hospital care (both in high school and after his time served in the military during the beginning of t...
Night of the Hunter 18.11.2020 1:04:46
Joe Esquivel starts the episode on a note of boredom and affected sarcasm, but Bob saves everything by yelling at him. Things change when Molly Brown is the guest. They sing together and she tries to be hateful. Nick Palermo replaces her as the guest on the show. We talk together about the upcoming presidential election. I confront Nick about his standup comedy show F...
Election Day Todd Pod Podcast 17.11.2020 1:15:53
Angel Trevino and Bob Morrissey talk about the short films Angel makes. Also Bob has a Grindr date but he gets stood up. Suddenly Justin Massengale is the guest and it's election day. There is a mood of giddiness and fear. This is the funniest this podcast will get, but at the same time there is no healing and nothing is solved or managed. All problems are the same, b...
