I talk about a day out I had today that I really enjoyed, and how I plan to actually do some writing tomorrow!

I talk about my third successive lazy day. What a lazy b******.

I didn’t do any writing today, but chatted with my friend T.G. Campbell about various things including “Empress of the Trees.” It was not a formal feedback session or anything like that but she mentioned a couple of things that I found very interesting indeed…

I’ll tell you about my first proper rest today from writing in a while.

I talk about how much I’ve achieved in terms of writing in the last five days, which is probably the most productive five days I’ve ever had writing, and how I might be a bit lazier tomorrow…

I talk about issues with the timeline in Self Portrait, what I did to fix them, and what writing I did today.

I talk about signing off chapter 8 of Self Portrait and then make you listen to a short story I wrote yesterday in 20 minutes from a random prompt…

I talk about finishing the zero draft of chapter 8 of Self Portrait, as well as reading you a short story I had to write in five minutes at my writing group this evening…

I talk about why I did not do a podcast yesterday, and about the fact I started writing chapter 8 of Self Portrait today.

Yesterday, I seemed resigned to not hitting my word count target for the month. I only had 2000 more words to write. I woke today with an energy and resolution to get it done! Did I manage? Listen to this podcast and find out!

Felt really tired today so didn’t get much done.

I talk about a lovely writing group meeting I attended today and also about the fact I finally managed to sign off the first draft of chapter 6 “Self Portrait.”

Too tired to even write this.

Working today, I’m on airport standby, and although the episode title suggests I could literally fly anywhere the reality is I have a handful of long haul possibilities and lots of short haul. Tune in tomorrow to find out where, if anywhere, I end up.

I’m annoyed. It probably shows in the content of today’s podcast! (Don’t worry I don’t swear a lot).

I talk about how I’ve finally got the scene I’ve been struggling with in chapter 6 of “Self Portrait” written here in Amman, Jordan, and then I’m about to waffle on about something else when my doorbell goes which saves you from it!
