I explain why I’ve been away the last couple of days and also why I have to now do a podcast every day for the rest of the month. On top of that I talk writing, of course!

I talk about my ridiculously productive day. To make up for the ridiculously unproductive one I had yesterday when I didn’t even bother to do a podcast.

I talk about signing off the 13th chapter of “Self Portrait” today whilst attempting to be coy about it’s actual contents.

I make my excuses for not podcasting yesterday and tell you about what I’ve got written today.

I talk about what writing I got done today and apologise for forgetting to do a podcast yesterday.

I talk about signing off chapter 12 of Self Portrait, albeit 11 hours and 16 minutes late. Isn’t it lucky I gave myself a deadline extension? Then I talk about my plans in terms of writing for the rest of October.

I talk about why I’m going to slightly miss my self-imposed writing deadline for this month, but I’m cool with that.

I talk about some feedback that I got today from T.G. Campbell about “Empress Of The Trees” and explain why I’m not going to get any writing done again.

Despite being jet-lagged and very tired, I make a start on the next chapter of Self Portrait as well as updating you on what I have been up to since the last show three days ago.

I stay in a Heathrow hotel because I’m too tired to drive home. Having two days off the podcast, see you on Sunday!

Didn’t think I was going to get any writing done today and then suddenly felt bad that I might not. I forced myself to do a writing stream and managed to get the zero draft of Self Portrait chapter 11 completed. Plus I gave the music artist I mentioned a couple of podcasts ago the feedback on their album which seems to have gone down in the spirit it was intended (in a good way).

Back home and very tired again.

Back to New York again, exactly as I did five days ago! Also, I’ve been asked to give some feedback on a music project by an artist that I’ve been following on social media for a few years now and I’m quite excited about it!

I’ve been mulling over an umbrella title for my artist trilogy. Today someone suggested I name it after a three panelled painting. Which is genius. So the trilogy is now called: The Triptych. And I wrote 1500 words of volume two (still called Self Portrait) today!

I talk about my jet lagged day.

I talk about returning from New York, an audiobook I’m having to listen to very quickly at a silly speed, and my plans for the next two or three days.

Today I’m in New York. I talk about the small amount of writing I got done and my plans for the chapter I have just started writing in season 2 episode 222.

I talk about my targets for the end of the month, and the fact that I’m flying to New York later today…

I finally get some writing done today, but have I managed to hit my interim 15,000 word target? Listen and find out!

I’m back! After an unscheduled break yesterday I finally returned to writing. Today I managed to get almost 3000 words written of Self Portrait chapter 10, which means that I will very likely hit my interim target of 15,000 words by the end of Sunday!
