The (Complex) PTSD Guy

I give my opinions about how I could see Saffy, from the comedy TV series Absolutely Fabulous, being an example of someone who could develop Complex PTSD from long-term psychological abuse. BTY, this is my favorite show of all time.

Final review for I, Tonya. Tonya gets into the 1994 Winter Olympics and her world turns upside down in a matter of days. This was such a big ordeal I actually never knew Nancy Kerrigan was able to perform in those Olympics. Learn something new every day.

Review of the movie I, Tonya. I chose this movie based on the abuse Tonya Harding endured, according to this film. I believe this is a good example of what a childhood of someone who has Complex PTSD can look like, of course trauma comes in many forms.

Recently mentioned to someone that I wonder sometimes if maybe I have traumatic brain injury from an extreme car crash years ago. She recommended trying to see a neuropsychologist and I explain here what that is and how they treat you/what they test for.

My review of The Catcher in the Rye. I haven't read this since high school but in my opinion, and others agree, this is a book about a youth with PTSD. I've always loved this book and appreciate it even more after reading it as an adult.

Great show that has brought me personal joy and relief: Emily in Paris! Good to take a break from self-analysis and just relax. Relate to the French culture and it inspires me.
