Bad Doctor Rant: recent mistakes by a pediatrician, obstetrician, GP, and psychiatrist. 05.10.2025 10:39
Storytime of some recent mistakes by a pediatrician, obstetrician, GP, and psychiatrist. Not all doctors are bad. Please share all your symptoms with good doctors who will ask questions to figure things out. Even with a good doctor, take more responsibility of your health by asking questions. Use drugs.com or your pharmacist to learn about your drugs. Use DSM 5 to check psychiatric diagnoses. For...
Chronic traumatic Encephalopathy CTE and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy HBOT: William Person interview 28.09.2025 44:06
William is a former 9-year Team USA Bobsledder whose life was upended by the very real, often-misunderstood symptoms of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), an issue tragically familiar to both athletes and military veterans. What makes CTE especially cruel is that it’s only diagnosed after death, but while alive, sufferers lose their quality of life and sense of self. William went through debi...
Are Chiropractors and other health professionals scamming you? 31.08.2025 20:27
There is a lot of subtlety to this video. Botox works sometimes, chiropractic adjustments work sometimes and can help loosen up before rehab or combined with muscle work, some hip problems do actually require hip replacements, etc... but these things are not always the best management, and some things may be done more for financial gain. Even regularly visiting your chiropractor could be nice... b...
Why you should seek out a DIANM specialist doctor for nerve, muscle, and/or joint problems 10.08.2025 12:20
DIANM doctors and non-surgical neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialists. It is a relatively new specialty and involves mostly chiropractors but some medical doctors as well. The DIANM credential is open to DC, MD, DO, and ND doctors. Just because they have the credential doesn't give any guarantee. I wish I could treat all patients myself. Frustratingly right now I'm not seeing any patien...
"exponential growth" and "proportional" improper use rant 03.08.2025 4:15
Words should have meaning and when words are incorrectly used that becomes the new definition. I hate when exponential and proportional are not used according to their original math definition. Credit for some graphs: wikipedia user Clevercapybara, NSTA, and Jean-Bernard Lasserre. The short clip of "Last week tonight" with John Oliver used under fair use.
YouTube sucks rant - Why don't I get recommendations from creators I want to see? 27.07.2025 21:09
YouTube doesn't recommend creators anymore. Algorithms don't seem to be helping people find content they want to see.
HR gets this wrong for remote work: Remote workers don't require sponsorship 20.07.2025 4:09
HR gets this wrong for remote work: Remote workers don't require sponsorship. They technically have to follow the rules of their home country. You can hire them as independent contractors easily. If you hire them as employees, there may be complications but Employers of record (EOR) can handle the complexity for you. It is nonsensical to sponsor someone for a work visa if they are never going...
Inflammation isn't bad for you (sometimes) 13.07.2025 6:55
Inflammation can be bad if the inflammation is attacking your body like in an auto-immune condition. It is normal and necessary to fight illness and to recover from an injury. This is basically an excerpt from my injury book which isn't done yet.... I know.. I know... I think I've only worked on it for a day in the past year. I'll finish it eventually. For more resources and information about myse...

Can you you replace your car with an electric scooter + a gotrax G4 and emove cruiser review 29.06.2025 21:17
I talk about using a scooter as a car replacement for commuting in the Cayman Islands relatively long distances. I also recount share my thoughts on the gotrax G4 and the emove cruiser S 2021-2023. Due to it having no storage, this is for trips where you aren't hauling gear. You can carry alot more gear. Make sure to get a threadlocker/loctite if you get an emove cruiser.
I'm sick of "Everything" being the Vagus Nerve, and other oversimplifications rant 15.06.2025 5:42
I'm sick of everything is the vagus nerve, everything is gluten, everything is gut health, everything is... you get the point. This rant inspired by a seminar by Dr. Michael Husmillo on concussions. "Everything" isn't so simple. I am not criticizing his patient care or the management presented in the seminar except for his reframing of everything is the vagus nerve. Dr. Michael Husmillo seems like...
