We return to Akron Library's Geekfest! It's an all-ages, multi-fandom con with a heavy anime influence (but still one of the few places I can bring out a Star Trek costume too!) and one of out favorites.

Con season continues! 

It was a busy week after Fantastic Four. Maddie and I catch up on Immortal Fest, Anime Fest and the How to train your Dragon book series. More importantly, we discuss side quests - possibly the most important part of any roadtrip!

We're a day late this week, that way I could include the weekend box ffice in Maddie and my discussion of Fantastic Four First Steps!

It's been over a year since Maddie first showed Matt Moana. It's high time we visit the sequel! Moana 2 sparks discussion of character archtypes, comparisons to lilo and Stitch as well as speculaton on wether or not Moana 2 is actually a horror movie.
