The Aftermath

After nearly ending the world again, Shinji gets the chance to clear his head and do some good for himself. Leave it to his crazy father to get you all wrapped up in his schemes about reviving his dead mother. In the end the only thing a son can do for his father is pat him on his shoulder, or kill him. With this chapter coming to a close, Shinji finally has the chance to catch a break. They all l...

Welcome to the third installment of Shinji, not being able to catch a break. He gets woken up from a 14 year coma just to get absolutely no info on what’s going on. That’s okay though, he eventually runs off and makes a new friend who brings him to new heights, literally. As well as nearly ending the world again. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

For anyone who thought he was going to have a better run this movie, you’re not totally wrong. There are some nice moments, and even some hopeful ones. All Shinji needed was a little love in his life, but instead got the death of both of his friends. But in the end who had the last laugh after he ascended to godhood. The Third Impact is beginning. The world is ending. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us...

Today we get to talk about a young boy who gets thrust into a giant robot monster and is sent to his death by his very neglectful father. When I say he gets treated poorly, I’m not exaggerating. For someone who is supposed to save all of humanity, they treat him an awful lot like he is an object. Even when he calls out what’s about to happen, they just brush him off. That’s okay, he gets to kill P...

So there was this dinosaur and it helped save my life, I swear! Don’t believe me, well let's get these time traveling future folk to take us to the past to prove it. In fact, let's use time travel to fix everything. Neutralize Godzilla, time travel. Accidentally creates a worse monster, time travel. Need to put a stop to Godzilla again, time travel. Whatever can’t be fixed with time trav...

On this episode of the ‘Bout Nothin’ Podcast, I’m joined once again by Dylan (and Ian Wolffe kind of). We talk ‘Bout being Sick, Fullmetal Alchemist, and the games we’ve been playing lately. This one’s a short one as I’m sick, but next time we’ll be back in full force! Our Links: ‘Bout Nothin’ Send us Fan Mail

Plain and simple, a one man army goes on the hunt for a kidnapped daughter from one of his former squad mates. As well as some guy who thinks he is going to strong arm his way into being president. Our main man is not threatened in fact anyone in his way is collateral damage. You remember when I said I’d kill you last, well I lied. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

We told you that was your last job team, but we’ve one more. Our team of five, angst filled, space fairing boys are tasked with putting down a rebellion as they each learn the true meaning of what collateral damage means. The rebels are led by a brainwashed girl who thinks she is somebody, but really isn’t. Even though this is an alternate universe the spirit of Bright Noa lives on, knocking some...

On this episode of the ‘Bout Nothin’ Podcast I’m joined by my brother Eric. We talk ‘Bout acting, the WGA strike, and a potential a book club podcast? Our Links: ‘Bout Nothin’ Send us Fan Mail

Once upon a time there was a young boy, and he didn’t want to go to school anymore. All he wanted to be was a rich wiseguy. After joining the family he meets his best friend. And wouldn’t know it, just when you think you know someone, they lose their mind and start taking out all your friends one by one. 'Ain't That A Kick in the Head.' Sure is, Dino. It sure is. Our Links: Ian Wolf...

Just when you thought you were finished with all this dinosaur nonsense, you’re back at it again. Not by choice, but what really feels like a necessity at this point. With your team goons, the less than good Hammond, and Mr. Big Game Hunter, I’m sure you’ll all make it out alive… Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

On this episode of the ‘Bout Nothin’ Podcast, I’m joined by Ian, my Brother and the Podcast editor. We talk ‘Bout our time traveling world, the Lessons we’ve learned, and the “Good Ole Days” Our Links: ‘Bout Nothin’ Send us Fan Mail

In this classic Disney adventure, this girl brings loving her family to a whole new level. Even though the outcome of survival is so low, and the possibilities of her dying are many, she still goes to be one of the boys. She fits right in by immediately starting a fist fight, that sounds about right. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

Today we talked about the one thing Dylan loves most, and that’s Mechs, big one for that matter. During our vacation we watched half of the Patlabor series, and just yesterday a new gameplay trailer for Armored Core VI came out. So needless to say we are both hyped about big robots and had to talk about it! Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

On this episode of the ‘Bout Nothin’ Podcast I’m joined by Dylan again and our other long time friend Chase. We talk ‘Bout Chase’s swim team stories, some embarrassing stories, and the time Dylan almost joined a Cult. Our Links: ‘Bout Nothin’ Send us Fan Mail

Not going to lie, I thought this was going to be a bad movie. I’m here to say that it actually was much better than I had hoped. Just for a moment, imagine if you will. It’s the 80’s, you’re full of angst and your family just doesn’t understand you. In some crazy turn of events, you end up with a robot car that becomes your best friend. Just another crazy day in 1987, amiright? Our Links: Ian Wolf...

Just when you thought you were home free, think again. This man is here to tie up loose ends and ask just one more question until all the pieces are put together. Don’t let your arrogance get the better of you, that’s how our main offender Ray gets played by both parties in the end. I can’t tell you how badly I want to put on my hat and trench coat, chew a cigar, and solve crime right now. Our Lin...

On this, the first episode of The ‘Bout Nothin’ Podcast, I’m joined by one of my best friends Dylan. We talk ‘Bout childhood stories, our love of games, and the joy of being a villain just because a game gives you the option. Our Links: 'Bout Nothin' Send us Fan Mail

In this episode we watch a young girl drink her way through the city, finding no one that can stand up to her challenge. Things go from crazy to fever dream in the matter of one night, but it feels as though it’s been a year. At one point there is a monkey on a segway with a bird that speaks and translates for him. It was truly the wildest night in history. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

I’m just going to come out and say it. If there’s ever a group of people that are totally normal, and they have a very important mission for you. Always take it, because they are definitely humans and it will alway end well for you, trust me. Never give up, never surrender. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

In a world where L.A. gets separated from the rest of the U.S. through earthquakes, there’s only one thing that can happen. Just like what happened to New York, Mega Prison. Fear not citizens, the President is totally normal and not trying to kill anyone, I promise. Right out the gate Ethan wants to nominate this movie for a Hjönse Award! In this dystopian Neo-Tokyo we follow a group of young bikers. Two of them are childhood best friends and they’re out to take down the clown gang. Trust me when I say, that’s the most normal thing that happens here. It’s not too long before one of the boys is “Awakened” and goes on a killing spree and turns into a Lovecraftian Flesh Monster. It’s good for your health, bad for your education. Our L...

It’s our Three Year Anniversary! In this episode we finally  got Ethan back in the studio after a long hiatus. There was a lot of talk about what video games we have been playing in this one, but fear not, we also talked about memes in true form. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

Buckle up, because it’s the return of the king of the monsters! It had everything you could wish for out of a Godzilla film. I’m talking fires, explosions, building destruction, and a good ol’ fashion kaiju fight. I’ve never seen Godzilla go on a victory rampage quite like this one before, it was amazing. Just when you thought you’ve experienced all the wartime woes in the Gundam universe Thunderbolt shows up and proves you wrong. Join us as we see a Full-armor psychopath, and a man who has sacrificed all his limbs to war duke it out in space. As if that’s not enough, it’s a space graveyard essentially. I don’t think I have ever experienced this much weight in one beautifully made movie before. Our...
