Well, we moved again! Hopefully not again for a very long time. The house is nearly finished as we move box after box into this tiny cottage. Moving yourself is no joke and we're tired...but doing it! Join s for the highs and lows of the past couple of weeks!

Not quite finished with the reno and we have to take a hard stop for about a week. It's good but what does that mean for the move? What general fears occupy brain space and thinking of others at the same time.

It had been quite some time since I had seen this amazing woman, in fact, she was a girl. We both were girls starting from the same place and where we went from there . . . who could have imagined?

Moreso a shift in timing rather than a whole new destination...and maybe money...has us moving a whole 35 miles from South Carolina to North Carolina.

Cheri and Niki cover bible studies, finding that special someone, marriage and of course the crappy Christmas present you had to pretend to love!

While we were back in Peoria for the Christmas holiday, we stayed with Cheri's cousin - or as she says, more like her sister, Niki and her husband Tom. Their house was so utterly comfortable at set for the holiday and Cheri got together with Niki to talk about some memories which led to their spiritual awakening.

During some recent travel, we spent some time with Joe Rogan's podcasts with Billy Bob Thornton and Lionel Ritchie. Both were great episodes and it turns out there's quite a common thread between the two along with some tremendous wisdom.

Our last episode published on Friday September 19th, and Rick's mom passed away a few hours later. That was the first of 3 consecutive and significant Fridays that encompassed, death, peace, travel and so much more!

Living and dying are not easy. Especially the dying part. There are things everyone should know about the process and we can tell you firsthand some of what to expect if you haven't gone through this before. Sad, reflective and also exciting at the same time...rally!

Despite the title this is a fun positive chat with longtime friends about that relationship, kids, family and so much more. Cheri & Teri have been besties for 30 years and Bill & I are happy to be along for the ride!

Food is such a part of our lives besides what fuels our bodies. It fuels our soul, our relationships (when done properly) and helps make life worth living. We talk about great meals, bad meals, conversations around meals and much more - and yes, when we talk about Coors Light from Smokey & The Bandit - I know it was original Coors - not light. Whoops!
