Well, that didn't last long! Drew and Meghan (who bought our house less than a year ago) are taking a bold and exciting step in their lives and are moving. Not eastward - quite the opposite - but God has His hand all over it!

Most cities have various styles of homes - but in some cases the south is very different. That said, Greenville has some amazing architecture! And would we live in a haunted house?

Setting out to be a faith based podcast was not our intention...but through this process we have learned what having some clear direction is.

6 months in and closing out the year looking into the new! (even with a vision board) We're so far out of the boat, we have no choice but to walk forward! It's very exciting with a side of terrifying. Oh, and when you hear Cheri talk about Newt Gingrich and CSPAN, she maaaay have been talking about Ted Turner and CNN!

The last 6 months have been everything. Ups, downs, spiciness (on more than one occasion) but in the end it's good. More than good...and we even learned more stuff since our last episode!

Are we content? Are you content? What does that even mean? Hopefully you find some contentment after listening! We did 😊

It's now a season of "wait". What are we even waiting for? For us right now, wait=trust. Trust in each other and trust in Him. And that ain't easy, but we will learn it...and so can you!

OK, thievery may be a bit of a stretch but it kinda felt like it in the moment. What does that mean? Cheri tells a true-life story of dognapping, the search for truth and really, really wanting to find an owner (especially on Rick's part!)

So - We were ready to record this episode and talk about what Home now means and how it may have been different than just 6 months ago...then hurricane Helene showed up. Devastation to this region doesn't even describe what has happened. Luckily for us Greenville escaped with lots of flooding and downed trees and loss of power. Yes, that is lucky. About 45 minutes to an hour north it was catastrop...

Cheri loves to deep think, self improve and...grow. Rick? Let's just say that's not his forte. But, it's necessary and we've actually learned to grow a bit as people and in our marriage in 33 years.

How has living in Greenville, SC been? What have we discovered along with being with each other nearly non-stop?

The number 12 has significant meaning in the Bible, in the world (hours on a clock, zodiac signs, months etc) and in pop culture - There are 12 Beatles studio albums! But there is significance in that number for us as well, so this seemed the right time to look into just what that means.

So far this story has been all from our perspective...until now! Our oldest daughter Meghan is our first guest and she brings her view of all thats transpired. Also, is Grace Removed a thing? We think it is.

Deciding, planning, boxing and unboxing is what has us in Greenville, SC. The dust has settled (literally and figuratively) and we are in a transition period we are calling the "Second Leg" of this journey. It's the lull before work and we don't always know what we should be doing with our hands or our minds...but we keep moving forward!
