The stoning of Stephen was a catalyst for the expansion of the Church that echoes throughout history to today. God used it and other catalysts that happen in our lives to bring us closer to him.

Psalm 23 is a familiar passage to many people. We hear it a lot at funerals and in times of stress in our lives. It reminds us that God is a good shepherd and we can find rest in him in a world that often feels out of control.

This week we read in 1 peter 1:17-23 about how Jesus is the ultimate picture of selfless love. How do we emulate his love in our hearts and into the lives of those around us?

This week we read Matthew's account of Easter and discuss how it brings us hope today. Enjoy! ✌️

Jesus enters into Jerusalem in our passage this week for the final time before his crucifixion. He paints an image of a Kingdom that is vastly different than what we may expect.

I'm John 11 we find the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. We also see Lazarus' family with some questions for Jesus. He's not surprised or angry at their questions. Rather he weeps with them and then shows his power over death.

This week we have a special guest speaker, Margaret Eklund who reminds us of the priority of spending time with Jesus.

Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman in John 4 reveals how we all have a deep spiritual thirst inside of us that Jesus can meet.

John 3:16 is probably one of the most well known verses in the bible and it seems simple but it can take a lifetime to fully grasp and may take us to some unexpected places.

Upward. Inward. Outward. This is how God loves us and how we receive and display his love.

Our world is a dark place but God has sent Jesus to be a light for it. This week we are encouraged to internalize this light and reflect it into the world around us.

This week we were blessed to hear from our worship leader, Sara about a time in her life that God brought her through. It's a wonderful message. We hope you are encouraged by it!

This week we are in Isaiah 42 talking about the servant of the Lord and how it applies to the church today. ✌️

Happy New year! We hope 2023 is an amazing year for you! This week we are in Hebrews 2 talking about how Jesus is the real messiah because he knows. He knows what it's like to be human. He knows our hurts, habits, and hangups. He knows our anger and frustration. He knows our sins, our deepest, darkest secrets, and he loves us anyway! 

This week we gathered to sing and celebrate Christmas with a brief reading from Luke 2 followed by communion. If you would like, feel free to partake in communion with the recording at the end. We pray that 2022 was a great year for you and that 2023 will be even better. Peace. 

This week we look at love in the Christmas story. Not only the love of God but the love Joseph exhibited towards Mary and how we can maybe emulate that in our own lives.

What helps you get into the christmas spirit? Maybe wrapping presents or hanging lights or baking cookies? This week we are looking at a non-traditional biblical person for this time of year - John the Baptist. We usually expect to talk about shepherds and angels but not this week. What does John say that helps us to get ready to meet Jesus? What are his words of warning and encouragement?

This week we look into Isaiah 2 and talk about the hope that Christ brings not just for today but for eternity as the nations gather together and worship God.

This week, we read from Luke 21:5-19 where Jesus talks about hard times to come for the disciples. But he encourages them to persevere because he will be with them. This week we are in Luke 19:1-10 looking at the story of Zacchaeus. It's so much more than a children's story. 

This week Jesus tells a parable about two very different attitudes about prayer. He challenges us to humble ourselves and recognize our need for mercy.

Sometimes our prayers seem to take a really long time to be answered. Don't give up. Don't be discouraged. God is working.

This week we look at Luke 17:11-19 at the time Jesus healed ten lepers and only one of them return to give thanks to God. What does it mean for us today?
