Sunday Morning Coming Down

John copes with his fears of becoming a steam room shish kabob, takes some inspiration from Casey O’Brien and enjoys taking care of Kirill during Hockey Day Minnesota in White Bear Lake.  

John hasn’t wanted to do much lately, and wonders if he’s getting old or depressed? He looks for answers in Yellowstone prequels and makes a firm decision on urinal protocol. 

John successfully hangs a bunch of paintings in his new house, is a hero on the group text, and rides the broom for Super Wildcard weekend. He also misses his kids. 

John narrowly averts another nervous breakdown from moving (or maybe he didn’t). It was a busy week as he went to church, hired a task rabbit, and wondered how he could go on a cattle drive. 

John is in the new house for New Years! Instead of resolutions, he finds himself doing a self-reappraisal and craving respect. He also wonders why Thailand hasn’t taken over breakfast. 

John trades MSP for PSP this Christmas and isn’t looking back. He engages with listener responses to the reverse podcast who share wisdom on how to find balance and satisfaction. Oh, and America solved climate change.

Luckily John found the fan in the bathroom at the rental. He discusses Netflix recos, 25th anniversary trip, and what it feels like to have a “bitch pop” in another man’s garage. 

John is visited by his spirit animal, Red Cooler Ronnie. John does his best to mentor a college crew from Madison, knowing his best advice would be do as I say, not as I do! 

With the move nearly complete, John is posted up in the rental (that’s located way too close to White Bear Bar) and is craving both a routine and a revival.
