Regardless of how small or large the congregation that you attend is, there's something that you can do...there's somewhere that you can serve. Just look around...start asking questions...start asking yourself what ways you think that you could serve...what are you good at? God definitely has a place for you to serve Him.

As we wait for the return of our Savior, we need to be about our Father's business...just like Jesus was when He awaited the will of His Father. One of the things that we should be doing while waiting, is sharing the Gospel, the Good News, with as many people as possible.

Did you hear that Christian? Your life as a believer must be seen. We can't just SAY that we believe in God and then go on about our regular daily lives. Our walk with God should be seen in the choices that we make. Jesus said, If you love me, keep my commandments.

As believer's in Jesus Christ, one of the key responsibilities that each of us has, it to defend the Word of God. This requires us to know God's Word. Today Pastor Terry exhorts us to turn off the TV one night a week and simply read...read some books regarding apologetics, arm yourself with knowledge about the inerrancy of God's Word.

After today's broadcast there will be no more excuses...nothing else that you can say about your relationship with Jesus. You'll have to consider it, you'll have to come to a decisive conclusion about your eternity. And that's the beauty of the Gospel...God doesn't force Himself on anyone...He gives each and everyone a choice.

All the sins that have ever been committed were placed upon Jesus on that fateful day when He was crucified. Just stop and think about all the terrible things that you've done and now consider that everyone else has done the same, some quite a bit worse...and ALL that...ALL sin was placed upon Jesus.

You might be listening today and find yourself in a position of doubt...you doubt the LORD, you doubt the Word of God. As we just heard Pastor Terry, you're not alone...there have been many people that have doubted. But, God can change your heart, if you'll approach Him by faith.

So many people pick this weekend to be one of the two times that they attend church...it's seems to be some sort of religious obligation...everyone should go to church on Easter and Christmas. But, is that really what the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is about? Dutiful church attendance? NO! It's so much more!

It's been said that there are only two guarantees in this life, death and taxes. Certainly, there isn't a single person in this existence that will escape the reality of death...it happens to us all. So, what's after that? Do you know? Are you prepared for that time? Today Pastor Terry exhorts you to be ready by accepting Jesus as your LORD and Savior.

Death has a powerful of communicating the reality of eternity. Just stop and think about the last time you were at a funeral...as we just heard from Pastor Terry, it's fairly obvious who the believer's are. Without Jesus, death is a very final and hopeless event. But for those of us who are born again, death is merely our transition into eternity.

As we just heard a moment ago from Pastor Terry, there are countless religions like Islam that practice various forms of works based salvation. Christianity stands alone as THE religion that requires nothing BUT faith in order to enter into heaven. Simply believing in Jesus is enough for everlasting life.

There are so many different things that this world and this existence has to offer that have the illusion of satisfaction. Oh, if I only had that, if I was only married to them, if I only made this much more...but, don't be deceived, there is nothing in this existence that can bring true satisfaction. We will only experience true satisfaction in the eternity to come.

In the New Jerusalem there will be no more pain, no more suffering, no more toiling over the things of this world...all will be make completely perfect by our Savior, Jesus. The list that we just heard a moment ago from Pastor Terry is startling...no more hospitals, bread lines...nothing like we experience here on earth.

If Jesus is investing so much into the New Jerusalem that is to come...just stop and think about what He's willing to invest in you. In fact, He invested His life into each of us. He came to this earth as a man and lives a perfect, sinless life just so that we could experience this New Jerusalem with Him.

Today Pastor Terry begins sharing with us some of the characteristics about this New Jerusalem that Jesus is preparing for us. And as we just heard from Pastor Terry, there are those who have chosen to reject the Old Testament. But, if the Old Testament isn't for us...how will we know the difference between the earthly Jerusalem and the Jerusalem that is to come?

In the coming kingdom of heaven there will be no sin. Therefore, if any person has not had their sins forgiven, then they, in turn; will not be in heaven. They will spend eternity in the lake of fire. Hopefully, just hearing this truth challenges those of you listening right now to consider your eternity and where you'll be spending it.

Do you lock your doors at night? Maybe you keep grandpa's old shotgun close by your bed? In the kingdom that is coming none of the old fears that we have will be relevant. The community of heaven will live in perfect harmony and peace. There will be no crime and no reason for any concern.

The choice to reject Jesus Christ as you're LORD and Savior and thus your Redeemer will have to be a deliberate one. You won't do it by accident. God has and will continue to provide instances where you can make the choice. But, how long will you wait? Don't wait until it's too late...receive Him right now!

Did you just hear that? If you're an unbeliever and you enter into eternity without the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ, there will be nothing that you'll be able to do to avoid the judgment that is coming. You will stand before God in heaven and He will judge you based upon the life you lived.

Accountability is a very important issue with the Body of Christ. But, there's coming a time when all of the accountability that we have with one another won't mean a thing. There's coming a day when we will be accountable to the One Who gives us our very breath...to our Creator, God.

There's coming a time in the future that all that we understand to be dangerous will be like anything else...the most venomous of snakes, the fiercest of bears, the most ferocious of tigers will be like the common pet. This might seem fanciful...but it is a rock solid promise from God's Word that we can bank on!

Although satan does have the capability of influencing humanity, he cannot force us to sin...we choose to. We have to be on guard just as Pastor Terry just exhorted us. We can never allow our guard to be down...in that moment of weakness, the enemy could gain a foothold in your life and the results could be disastrous.

In order to experience the amazing blessings that we've been learning about from Pastor Terry in the past couple of broadcasts of Summons, you must be born-again...the millennial reign of Jesus Christ will only be a blessing to you if you're on His side, if you've received His free gift of salvation...so, have you?

There are many benefits that we will enjoy during the millennial reign of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. But, one of the GREAT facts about this time is that the enemy of our souls, the persecutor of the brethren, the devil will be bound...he will be locked up. We will be free of his constant torment.

As we just heard a moment ago from Pastor Terry, in today's message Pastor Terry will tackle the difficult subject of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. Throughout the ages, church leaders and different denominations have had many opinions about this time period. Today we will consider what the Bible says.
